Why YOU Can't Make REAL Money Online!

To those who say you CAN'T make money online...I understand. I get it. Maybe you're overwhelmed with options, or you've tried a thing or two and it flopped. Maybe you've spent a lot of money on products and ebooks that did nothing for you. Sound like you? How do you turn things around?

I think most people come back with "With that attitude you can't do anything! Change your attitude!" or "Just take action!" like it's all about attitude and motivation. It's untrue though, you can try and fail with a GREAT attitude! I did!

Internet marketing is NOT just a mental game, it requires physical work. If you feel all gushy inside after reading some sweet little post about feeling good about yourself and taking action then still sit around and do nothing you NEED, no MUST, read the book 7 Steps For Highly Effective People!!!

IM requires physical action. Always. Motivate yourself to do that action and then worry about more actions! If the physical plan is a failure from the start then you can't expect success. It does NOT mean your average guy can't make money online. I make money online and I'm average. But just because I (or anyone else) makes money online does NOT mean anyone can either! But, the good news, anyone who is computer literate and has a business mind can succeed!

I'm not going to get into specifics here about one technique or another. There's at least 500,000 posts in this forum detailing exactly those things.

My point here is to tell you this: KNOW and CONTROL where you get your information from!

There are five main players in the IM world and you MUST know this....get your info from the wrong side and you're doomed to fail.

0. Google....yes they are the world richest internet marketer. They did it right from the very beginning. They have all the eyes. Most of their updates are to undermine what YOU do and drive a constantly increasing higher end of traffic to adsense ads (panda anyone?).

1. the $$BIG$$ guys....they work on becoming billionaires. You NEVER hear about them, they are invisible. They live on tax friendly islands and have interest groups and corporations run their nearly invisible empires.

2. The "John Chows"....super in-your-face all about IM marketers who make their money off of motivation and half explained ideas, but they never quite give all the details, stringing you on for years.

3. Scum marketers.... They set up campaigns or write ebooks to sell you things you don't need, or ideas that make little money. They promise millions of dollars and upsell 2-3 times just to get off the squeezepage. In the end all you have is another crappy ebook and people saying things like " 80% will never make this work cuz they are too lazy!". In truth their ideas are pure failure because most have no experience whatsoever and are simply rehashing old ideas into a "new" program.

4. Us. We. The rest of us. We spend our time researching what works and we do it. We make a little to a lot, some make $1k-$2k a year, some make $1k-$2k a week, but that's it. We're not super rich yacht owners, and we're not masters of all things IM. We found a working platform and treated it like a business and it paid off.

5. The failures.....the so called 80%. The ones who want this to work but are scared of failure and have closed minds. A 9-5 mindset that keeps them tied to a paycheck and a boss. They are nothing but fodder for the "John Chows" and scum marketers.

Figure out where you fit in, I bet it's #4, possibly #5. Think about who is giving you information. Is it #3? What if it's #2? Is that ok?.

This is how I rank them.....

0. Read what they're doing, keep up with trends and try to get along as best you can. Learn from them.

1. Forget it, unless one happens to be your uncle you won't ever even know they're in internet marketing.

2. For some basic tips and top ten lists, sure. need to know the best plugins for wordpress? Turn here. But don't hold your breath for any serious plans or inside info like they promise.

3. Most people get their info from these guys. This is TERRIBLE!! This is the most common reason why people fail and waste money, they (you! and me!) listened to these guys!! I picture them in my head as some greasy weirdo that lives in a van and gives shady advice in back alleys. Would you use that sort of information to run a Fortune 500 company? Then why would you use it to start yours?

4. HERE!!! YES!!! THIS!!! Get your information from this group, emulate (not copy) what they have done! This is where you find success and learn how to make real money.

5. Never, ever! Don't listen to these people! Deep down they are jealous but at the same time think you're crazy! They wish they could make easy money online, but can't imagine life without a corporate paycheck coming in every week. Most times their mindset seems incurable, but in fact it's worse...it's spreading! They can't stand your success and want you to conform just like they did.

Unfortunately anyone in group #4 will be bombarded by info from #3 and have lots and lots of #5 in their friends and family. You have to drown them out if you ever want real success in internet marketing! Find the #4's and listen to them!

THIS should be a sticky! Solid information that all should read, many will read, fewer will take as advice and a lot will end up filing under "another smack talker" and will never take any action.

Internet marketing is a little like riding a bike, you can read all sorts of books about riding, racing, building, but you have no real idea how to ride it until you get on and learn to ride. Nobody ever made anything a success by just reading about how it works, life is not a spectator sport and neither is marketing on or off line.

      Great post BlueOak!

Ty for your kind words. I've been in IM for years now, thought I would finally join and give back. I've made a lot of mistakes, had a few successes, and tried just about everything. If I could only count the thousands upon thousands of hours (and dollars!) I've threw away learning this sport, mostly thanks to #2's and #3's.

I just hope I inspire at least one person.

One of the most vital skills one can have for sure.

Whenever you hear information from someone a few critical questions to ask yourself can prevent you from taking in misleading information:

    1) Are there any underlying assumptions that I haven't been told about?
    2) Is there sufficient evidence for the claim?
    3) Does the claim being made follow logically? Are there any fallacies? (Studying logic helps with this)
    4) What possible motives could they have for telling me this?

Also, wishful thinking needs to be stopped. Check if there is anything you are overlooking that you normally would not and be honest with yourself when you realize that you want to believe something rather than being logical about it.

        Hi BlueOak,

Your post may resonate with those in the MMO (Make Money Online) space, but they're an incestuous little band, forever chasing the latest tactic or technique instead of trying to build worthwhile businesses. There are countless successful online marketers operating outside of MMO (many of them on this forum) who slot into none of your five categories.

It's a big, wide internet world out there.

          Great OP, thanks!

It;s obvious to me that there are a lot of people with a lot of money to throw around, you just have to design the best basket to catch the money!

The seller of this Flippa auction https://flippa.com/2811129-establish...vergreen-niche obviously had the right way to make big money easily. Hard to believe that someone would pay $50,000 for a PR site bringing $770 per month that has just a few egg recipes on it!

The revenue is all Adsense based and I wonder how reliable that is? Google could wreck that at any time.

            Hey, great post.

            However I can't fully agree.

In this group we can find some great guys as well. I have gathered many very usable tips and tricks from this group. Those guys are not created equal. I don't know much about John Chow but I do know something about other "Gurus" and they are all pure businessman.

Moreover, I think we should actually learn from them by watching how they behave, how they talk and what they do. Of course, for newbies it may be not a good way to go because "Gurus" don't teach basics. And while it is possible to make some money fast, no one ever said that plain newbie can do this.

Frank Kern's 23 million in 24h is a culmination of his previous work and experience. He didn't just jump on 24 million overnight... The same goes for other marketers.

They say "I Just made 24 million in 24h! If I did it, You Can To!"

Well, yeah sure everyone can, no doubt about this, after all, they are not soo special or X Files case. They are normal folks like we are.

But the problem is that great number of people (and not only newbies) thinks that they can do it without any knowledge, work and sweat. And that's just pure ignorance (I know because I was there...).

Anyway, good post to think about some things Thanks

          Exactly.

For some of us the internet is simply another medium to generate leads/sell products for our businesses. We also use direct mail, telemarketing, flyers, posters, door-to-door, newspaper ads, and other ways to reach our audiences.

Or the time lost reading and and implementing a crappy process only to learn weeks or months later it was all for nothing. Very good point, spend 5 mins on Google maps before paying yet another $37 for a new product and you could learn a lot. Sometimes the proof is in the pudding.

That's an excellent post. It's as true in the internet world as it has always been in "real life." Learn from those who are doing what you are doing.

That is what trade and professional associations have always been about. Now we have internet forums instead, but the principles are still the same. It's OK to read what the gurus have to say every once and a while but don't be suckered by their pitch. There is no magic bullet.

The answer is to find what works for you and to the extent you can avoid some mistakes by listening to the lessons that others before you have learned, keep your ears open. As the OP says emulate, don't copy. You need to understand WHY something worked for someone else and what tweaks need to be made for it to work in your own situation.

Until they change their mindset, yes. They will rot while keeping up with the Joneses, making their "safe" paycheck every week and never having much left over after paying the bills. People build their entire lives around a regular paycheck and anything that might put it at risk is impossible to grasp.

This mindset is not new, nor is it unique to IM. It has existed for thousands of years. Even the wheat farmers of Babylon were afraid to try something new, to risk a little to gain more. As in today's time a very small percentage controlled most of the wealth, not because they were better men but because they understood risks and were willing to take them.

Not much has changed in 8,000 years.

To steal a corny lines from the Matrix, from ghosts in the machine. I'm not the first to notice some major money being thrown around in IM, millions at a time put into this or that. If you look around you can find out more about them, but it's difficult.

A good example, the multi-million dollar adword account bans that were covering various niches and run by people, not corporations. Some of them got so upset over it they made a few posts here and there. There are other small tale-tale signs that huge millions are moving around behind the scenes under pseudo accounts and such. I think most of it ends up in the Cayman Islands. If you start following the money you find some weird things. Most of the secrecy seems to be for tax reasons, security, and safety.

The most successful people will NEVER say a word about what they do for fear of competition.

    Hi Blueoak,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for starting off with such a rational and well thought-out contribution.

I agree with most of what you said and that's unusual for me

Many people don't even think about where their information comes from or have any sort of filters in place for letting only the good stuff through.

You see it here everyday where someone asks a question and gets a ton of people regurgitating the same stuff they heard somewhere but never actually tested or used for themselves. It's one of the reasons there's so much misinformation around in IM and especially in niche elements like SEO.

I think it's good advice for life in general that you take a step back and understand where your own confidence in your beliefs come from. When you think you truly KNOW something - why is that and how does that differ from all the other information you have?

It's easy to read a few books and have an understanding of IM principles without having ever successfully put any of them into action.

Especially easy is to have some small level of success using one strategy and then move onto a different one and keep the generalisation about the previous strategy alive, so that 2 years later you're still telling people it should work for them - even though you're not doing it yourself and are assuming that your previous experience was a general one and that it also still applies. Like using a link blasting tool to automate getting .edu links 5 years ago and then selling people the same thing 5 years later saying "well it worked great for me" when it will actually get anyone doing it now slammed in the SERPs for their efforts.

IM is a constantly changing beast and it's really important that people find their own truths about what is right for them and their business and where they get their reliable, trustworthy information from.

This forum is fantastic for people starting out because there are so many other people in the same position or just a little up the road.

When you've been doing IM for over a decade it's easy to forget that some people starting out are not looking at "building a 'proper' business" or even "making $10k a month" - they're just looking to break the generalisation they have that making money online is impossible for them. They need to make their first dollar.

Once they've made dollar number 1 - then they can look a little further ahead and pick their next target.

There are probably thousands of members of this forum that make 'something' online.

I've personally met literally hundreds that make enough to pay most peoples monthly bills using IM, and a few more that are making millions.

So this is definitely the right place to source good information - as long as you build a filter and test your own strategy for accepting and keeping information.

IM is not a one-size fits all situation - other peoples truths may not hold true for you - and what you find works, may not work for others.

It's important that you realise that you need to be the champion and guardian of your version of the truth and be open-minded about other people with different perspectives.

    Andy

I agree with what you have. I have always believed I would make money online, but it doesn't really seem easy. What makes it difficult is not actually how to make the money, but how to get the right information to teach you in simple, honest steps how to make money online. Like you rightly said, most of these information only end up getting us confused and frustrated. But over the years I have come to learn that with the right information, there will be no limit to how much you can make online.

    Thank you for this post.

Everyone is going to get burned with some WSO out there; meaning if you actually put it to the test and try the methods it recommends. You'll soon see what really works and what does not. My point is that we are all going to fall for that quick claim for easy wealth, but pretty soon we move on to more realism about IM.

What is pathetic though are those continually look for that magic bullet year after year, and then bitterly walk away from IM. There's shysters out there in every marketplace. It just the real world.

          LOL

They're not "evil", they're marketers! Those are precisely the people you should keep an eye on to learn how selling online is done.

There's no "us vs. them". Geez... some people won't ever get it.

I agree. They are not "evil". But, they do have an innate ability to focus on the selling process and the resulting profit far more then they do on the integrity of their product. It's the same reason some people can make tons of money with pyramid schemes. They look at the scheme and say "I could make millions doing that". I look at the scheme and immediately ask "well, what is it exactly that I'm selling to people?"

            I guess that means I'll be stuck as a #4 instead of a #3.

There's a lot of information out there about building lists and creating products. Build a squeeze page. Create your funnel. Construct your autoresponder etc etc.

Well, what am I going to be selling to people?

Oh, that, well, just get some PLR and rewrite it real quick and BOOM you've got your product.

            I see.

In general, the 3's focus on that and really aren't that concerned about the value be given to their customer. 4's are concerned about it so they have a more difficult time making money.

I have been in the #5 category way too long and have given way too much money to the #3s. I have read a couple of posts these last few days and started to acknowledge just to what extent this was the case. This post however was a kick in the balls and a very necessary eye opener. One that has made me step back and take a long hard look at the people I have trusted in teaching me and removing myself from those that I find are leeching off of my lack of experience and desperation.

    Thanks for the post man.

    To BlueOak,

I do agree with some points from your posts. But I think this article has its fair share of vague ideas and flaws though.

    1) Your title 'Why YOU Can't Make REAL Money Online!' can sound a bit melodramatic, but you really enticed me to click (I think works with most of the others too). So, kudos to that?

    2) You are right in saying that you can't make money just buy buying ebooks and courses, sit back and wait for results without physical work.

But having said that, I can attest that Internet Marketing is still one of the best business to start. Why I say so?

Because it is possibly the only business you can start with very little or even zero cost of capital (sans books and guides) and your level of playing field is better compared to many other competing business schemes.

Tell me what kind of business that can offer the same kind of privilege and I am all ears to it.

    3) Doing whatever business including IM requires attitude, motivation and like you mention, physical work. This is already a requirement to succeed in ANYTHING.

Whether you will be successful later or not, that's just the risk you have to take. If everything is so certain, then everybody will be doing it, nobody will go to work 9-5 and still get screwed by bosses.

Simply, this is called Risk Vs. Reward.

    4) My comments on the '5 players in the IM world':

Google: Are they the richest internet marketer? I don't know. But why should I worry so much about it? If I want to be involved in IM, Google is not my competitor, Google is my friend!

Then there is this story about pandas and penguins. If your article is directed to those who have yet to make the break in IM, then needless to say the main problem still would be their traffic generation!

That makes the pandas and penguins irrelevant to these beginners' initial pursuit, isn't it?

The Know and Control Factor: Knowing how Google works is more important than to rant about Google's domination. Once you know how it works, then it is far more essential for you to structure your online business path.

the $$BIG$$ guys: As you mention that we will never hear about them and they are 'invisible', then why am I supposed to worry something which is so far out of my reach?

For example, take Walmart; they are the largest chain retailer in the world. But are they the only operating retailer in the world? There are still tons of other competitors that made good fortunes out of it!

The Know and Control Factor: Again, the know and control is totally irrelevant here. If they are someone who you never heard of and even being invisible, what is there to know and control?

The "John Chows": I am not going to comment anything about him, but let me ask you a question:

If you are a marketer who are supposed to sell a product, do you want to reveal part of the details of your product as a promo, or you want to reveal ALL content of it?

If listening to John Chow's advice does not help you in achieving your internet wealth, then don't!

But isn't it better if we try to understand and find out more why John Chow is so popular and successful (or nasty and nortorious)? Then by knowing it, we try to model something for ourselves so we can make some profits too?

There's a reason why John Chow can cement his popularity on the internet fame and that alone is something worth to learn from.

Being popular and rich online doesn't mean being nice, it is getting yourselves being known and noted.

I prefer to be controversial rather than being a forever alone guy!

The Know and Control Factor: The idea here is not to know John Chow's and how to control it. Tell yourself this:

Never totally believe something in the internet 100%. Always cross check advice with other sources (better if learn through practical applications), then deduce your own conclusion. You decide what is right or wrong.

That's why the rich and successful people in the world are always people who had fell and fell before. They learn things the hard way, by practical applications.

Scum marketers: I wholeheartedly agree with you on this. It really hurts to get scammed by these dungs.

The Know and Control Factor: Whenever i heard of books, courses and articles that promises you X amount of dollars in Y time, I toss them out straight away.

I prefer to listen to those which can seem to offer tangible results ie. pulling x amount of targeted subscribers in Y time for example. I'm not saying I will buy them straight away but I am more inclined to listen to it.

The keyword here is the specificity of the claim. Promises of earning dollars is never an absolute, but a relative term (You earn 1 billion dollars in 1 month, doesn't mean I will have the same result).

Us: No comment. You said it well enough.

The failures: I don't quite understand how a 9-5 mentality person is related to being a fodder for the 'John Chows' and scum marketers? Can you highlight more about this?

    The Conclusion?

It is right to say the internet is so overwhelming with information, that you don't really know where to start from.

BlueOak is right that you have to start it step by step incrementally, beginning from scouring information from this forum.

However, I must add that all the things you learnt are like pieces of puzzle. You need to merge it to become some sort of a workable online system (this is another long issue to talk about). But what I can say is, if you can relate all the things you learn and seam it together, it suddenly just makes sense and it can really make your business grow.

At least, you can more or less see the direction of your business path.

      ...
      Well, I can.

To make a consistent income you need a system - a business.

The trouble is, when someone is committed to a 9-5 job it's harder for them to take risks associated with business.

In addition, there are certain things that a 9-5 is used to - a guaranteed paycheck.

In business, you have no such guarantees plus you do not get rewarded in proportion to the hours you put in. So in a 9-5 job you get paid for X amount of hours. In business, you could go bankrupt if you make the wrong decisions.

So how does it answer your question?

A scammer knows a 9-5 person wants security. The reality is that, at least in the short term, there is no such thing in business. Also, there are no guaranteed returns - plus often you may actually run at a loss for some time.

A 9-5 person wants to avoid that reality. A scammer tells him "Here is a guranteed way to earn money..." When a business owner sees this, he knows it's a lie. A 9-5 person sees it and thinks "this is what I have been looking for".

Plus, let's look at the risk factor. If you're running an PPC campaign, for a 9-5 person on average it's "how do I get the cheapest clicks".

For a business owner, they understand they may spend at least $1000 without seeing any returns, just to figure out how a market responds to their offer.

I could go on forever, the basic point is, a lot of 9-5 job holders haven't yet been introduced to a business paradigm. Scammers feed off that and present solutions that don't work in reality.

I find #1 intriguing. Would love to see a movie done on one of these types of guys, I think we'd all be fascinated although it's a life/business built on a glass tower that I would never want.

One thing you need to remember is that "IM" and all that surrounds it has a very low barrier to entry. It's not like opening a restaurant where you have a lease, overhead, employees, and everything else that comes along with such an endeavor which pushes you as the business owner to make it successful no matter what. Along with the low barrier to entry comes the ability to call it quits or not push yourself without much or any consequence (unlike owning an offline business). If every IM'er was relying on his/her IM income to feed their family, get through college, or make their mortgage each month, there would be a much higher success rate in our field. Most are simply supplementing day jobs (which is perfectly fine) or have some other way of getting by that makes it not imperative to put their all into what they're doing and excel.

Combine that with the lying "sharks" at the top who pray on that desperate personality type and make the search engines the enemy when they fail to meet the false expectations they promised - and you've got a hell of a lot of ugliness going on.

I'll leave you with this... How many people do you think became millionaires out of the 300,000 people that fled to California in 1849? Only a handful from actually finding gold and they did it with a lot of hard work and smart choices. It was the merchants selling the picks and axes to the dreamers and the con artist selling false claims that became truly wealthy during all the ruckus. It's the dirty little secret of the IM world and one most of us are keen to but choose to ignore as desperation leads to us telling ourselves "Maybe this one is the one that will make me rich..."

Become a merchant and offer value in any IM endeavor you delve into and you'll become someone solidly placed at the high end of #4 (blogging, offline, ecommerce, kindle, etc). Stop being a desperate gold seeker and stop buying those fake claims from the liars and thieves along your roadway to success.

Anyways, thanks BlueOak for breaking this down, I think it'll help a lot of people see the big picture.

    -Nathaniel

Thanks Blueoak, I really found that post interesting. As someone who has a foot in #5 (have to be honest) and haven't made any money from IM in 3 years of trying, what you say makes a lot of sense. I see on the internet and on this forum a lot of ignorant people who have made a few quid and then mock someone who says they cannot afford the £12 aweber fees, I read that particular thread a few minutes ago. Also annoying is the quote "so easy a two year old could do it" or "if you can't make money with this you shouldn't bother again" to a particular product that is hard to make work. That kind of attitude can be hurtful to the beginner who is struggling to make a breakthrough.
You're absolutely correct, what works for some doesn't always work for others and like myself, some people who try and try and try and try seem to get nowhere. Nothing wrong with my mindset, I just haven't found what works for me. But I'll keep trying and WHEN I get success I won't forget my struggles and will try to help other newbies with as much understanding as possible.

The mindset is very important if you want to make any money online. Also taking action is as equally important. Sure you can read and learn about a particular technique or strategy online from an e-book, or get it from a teleseminar or webinar, but if you don't use it, then you will never know if it will indeed work for you.

Being an online entrepreneur takes a whole lot of time and work. You can't build a site and then wake up rich the very next day. It doesn't work that way no matter how convincing someone is in trying to tell you that.

Internet marketing requires work and lots of it. It requires for you to take action and do what needs to be done to work towards your success. The lack of motivation and the lack of being willing to really work is what is blocking so many people out of making real money online.

I have made some money online; maybe not a lot of money, but I have made some nevertheless. It is not about making piles and piles of money but rather, it is about building strong relationships with other people so that you can make money online.

The best advice thta I can give here is to simply take action, find something that you're able to do and go with it. If you ahve to learn new skills then so be it, but if you already possess skills then use them to their fullest potential and you will see results.

The word "work" isn't a dirty word. It is a very healthy word that can bring you results, and I do mean real results. However, you need to get off your rump, take action before you can see any of the results that you desire.

Just reading an e-book or two and getting all pumpped up will not make success happen for you. It takes action and you are the one that needs to take action. That e-book will not make you any money. Only you will be able to make money by applying your skills and your mind to the task.

So if you're not making any money online, then you are to blame, not the e-book you just read or the teleseminar that you just got off of, or the webinar that you had just completed. It takes you to get the ball rolling by taking action on what you have heard or read. Action is the key to total success online.

Thank you for this. I think this message is the best tool for me to reorganize my thoughts about money. I honestly want to work hard and make 3-5k a month. I don't want to be super rich. I mean, unless I'm able to afford employees making livable wages with good benefits I don't want to be super rich. I have the time, I know my way around the internet, research is a joyful experience for me and I can even write a comprehensible sentence most of the time. I just have no capital. I have 0 capital to be exact. It's frustrating to keep trying and feel like I'm spinning my wheels, but I don't have time for something to not work within 30 days. I don't expect money tomorrow, but I do expect even a few dollars at the end of the month.

I even started a twitter account to lazily do affiliate marketing while I figure out what I can do to live on. I don't expect it to do much, but amazon associates is a decent affiliate program since the person doesn't have to buy the thing they clicked on for you to make money. I'm hoping someone clicks the link, then ends up buying something that day from amazon.

Anyhow, I joined this forum because as I was researching the free systems I was finding, I always ended up here. You guys have been so very helpful thus far and I look forward to learning all I can from y'all. Thanks again for the comparrison. I'm #4, but possibly because I'm too poor for #5. Well I like everyone else was drawn to this thread because of the title. As I am just starting out in trying my hand at internet marketing (IM), my first thought when reading the title was "great what have I got myself into". I have a bit of a business background learned from the school of hard knocks over the years and some great teachers that I met along the way. This is a great thread for someone like myself who needs to understand what makes IM tick and this goes a long way in pointing you in the right direction. I was a 9-5 er for a number of years in the past also but now I've become a 5-9 er and then some. This thread has given me hope that if I keep up with all my efforts, never stop learning and applying what I learn then I too should be able to make this work. Thanks again for this great thread.

I still believe that a couple of marketers out there is dedicating their time to help people to establish long term online business - it does cost you an arm and a leg though

You've broken it down very well with the categories of 'haves and have nots' on the internet. And, this could have just as easily been in the Mind Warrior subforum (though it fits here perfectly). Just saying, a huge part of success and keeping yourself motivated is who you associate with; who you talk with or emulate. And, keeping yourself motivated isn't just about pretty inspirational sayings, it's about seeing success in your own life and experiencing daily wins and a lot of that comes from emulating and studying the right people, not just repeating mantras daily.

LOVE IT! Yes. When I first began, I was "stumped" by confusion because of all of my options. I like what Frank Kern said about rich people. He said (paraphrasing) "When Rich people go into a project, they don't start off with a failure mindset".

This really makes all of the difference in the world.

      • The reason as of why most people dont make money online is NOT because of th reasons explained by the OP...

The real, cold truth reason is because most people do not have anything worth offering to the market, and out of those few who do, the majority simply don't know how to market it.

There's no secret to make money online, but you do need to have something valuable that's actually in demand. Most people just dont have that something, or don't know to how market it.

Number 3 is pretty common sense...

It's not entirely the "gurus" so to speak who are to blame. They won't be able to become rich if it wasn't for people who buy into these hype. I like the post but I think you are missing ONE other big platform where you can get information from...

    And that's... Reverse engineering.

You don't need to know the "how to". You just need to know what's working and then model them. Learn and the how to will come.
