What Are Some Things I Should Take Note Of When Selling Products On Clickbank?

I wish to be a clickbank vendor, hoping to sell my products and recruit affiliates to join in the selling.
Had just read through the entire clickbank site, it's informative.
However I guess it is still better to ask around here for anyone who has experiences as vendors.
What are some things I should take note of (be it selling or recruiting)?
I understand the best way to learn is by doing, I'll be sure to do that. But if anyone can advise on 'things you learned the hard way about clickbank... and wished you knew earlier', that would be great.
