Please help with my first product launch :)

I'm thinking of releasing an ebook showing how to get traffic with Twitter. Here's the problems:

I don't have a list
I don't have any affiliates
Never done a product launch before
No sales latter experience

I was thinking of creating a WSO to sell it because of the problems listed above. Give me your opinion please.

    Sure - WSO will work, but even then, it is good to identify some beta customers (Ex. give away the first 20 copies to get early feedback and hopefully, testimonials).

    Same principle applies to non-WSO and WSO product launch, get some champions on board up-front and leverage their credibility to build momentum with your launch.

    Maybe you could look approaching warriors who have
    run their own Twitter WSO's, with a view to Joint Venture with them..

    You could build a squeeze page, or get one built and offer a "10 or so page teaser" of your book as a free download if they opt-in to your list..

    This situation you are in, is high-lighting, how much you need to build a list..

    I resisted and avoided and "down right" ignored building a list for soooo long,
    but since I started, I have never had so much progress in my business..

    Your list is an asset, that can produce "cash-on-demand" for you anytime you want it..

    You WIll gain affiliates via WSO Pro if you have a top offer for them - 75% and up...

    But don't be fooled into thinking that a WSO is a shortcut to success. For WSO success you are going to need some authority if you want significant sales (not always the case but pretty essential in my opinion).

    If you've not done a product launch etc then it's time to discover how it is done.... Else you will be in the same position the next time you want to launch.

    As for sales copy...

    well this is a science and there are critical elements to a hot copy. If you can't afford to pay a good copy writer then you must learn to write.

    Email lists. The one IM must is building a list and this should be an ongoing effort. You can never have too many on your list. If you had been doing this already then your product launch today would be far easier. Focus on building your list NOW..

    Curious....Why can't you use your twitter traffic strategy to send them to an optin page to start building your list?

        Glad to help... Also something else to think about while your doing that... then use that same strategy to send traffic to the guys you want to promote for you. Because, if you give traffic you'll receive traffic back in many cases. :-)

    I don't know what i have been waiting for but i understand IM is a broad field that you learn one step at a time.I now have to get the OPT in button and squeeze page, i didn't know they are basic things to get after setting up your blog.where can i get a free template for a squeeze page.
