Hi there...Everyone has to start with no reputation. You just have to build yours from scratch...you have to start somewhere. Adjust your tags to get max exposure. Some markets in Fiverr are already saturated so to get some of that Organic Fiverr traffic, it all depends on many factors.

Problem is you have a rating of zero. This is because you are new. Most people on Fiverr have been there over a year. Like they already have a track record and have built up their rep. Perhaps you can get a friend to order your gig and rate you. That way, you will have at least one gig. Also, you need to have several gigs up. Each in a separate area. Try to get at least nine. Well, this is to increase your exposure. Fiverr has sub categories now. Look for one that is not crowded and jump in.

I have found that I cannot depend on Fiverr to get me some gigs. The traffic is just too low, so you should create a web site and optimize it for your keywords and then point to your FIVERR gig. Please keep track of your time as it is poor pay. I get $3.92 per gig.

Make sure your service does not go over an hour and you will probably still get less than the minimum wage. Working at McD pays more. Still, it is fun to do some gigs. Think of Fiverr as a way to gain exposure. People use it to start building up a name.

Don't let the fact that other people have a proven track record. Just treat all your customers like GOLD and you should be fine. It will take a while but as you establish a track record, things should get smoother for you.

The hardest thing is the first sales and the first review. When you get that you need to over deliver to make the First Good impression. And start selling.

Or you can featured your gigs for few box. That certainly will give your gig a bump and help to start the sale.

I did a few fiverr gigs as a test and realized that the only way to make money using fiverr is to upsell your customers to higher paying services. But fiverr doesn't want you doing that so be carefull how you go abou it. I always got the customer's email or skype ID to further clarify what they needed and then chatted them up on additional services.

After a while I also realized that people on fiverr don't want to pay more than $5 for anything. I had a few actually get mad at me that I would not build out their entire site (graphics, content, auto responder setup, etc) for $5.

But if you want to jump in I would strongly consider doing a video of yourself explaining the gig. This is what I did and got orders almost immediately installing Wordpress, which was and still is fairly competitive. I had automated software that would push the site to their account with one or two clicks and it took all of about a minute to complete. If you have to spend more than 10 minutes on a gig yourself then you should think about outsourcing the actual work.

I would suggest you to go for marketing your gig to the right (target) audience.

First things first: create your portfolio site. Now don't host on Wordpress.com It sucks. If you can't afford the web host stick to Blogger or Tumblr instead.

Sign up on Twitter, Linked In, Pinterest and even Instagram (with the same username. Now don't make a username that is hard to spell and remember). Next, make some videos and upload them on Youtube and other video sites.

Since your gig is about Technology, try guest posting for a tech blog (rather a lot) and link to your portfolio site reporting the readers about your gig in the Author's Bio.

Now I don't want to discourage you. But, the truth is you most probably won't be making any sale until you have high ratings and testimonials. It's the same like "Even To earn money, You need money" The competition on Fiverr is extreme. Your gig needs to be stand out of the rest (if you want it to be spotted). If you can afford, then buy video testimonials on the Fiverr itself. And, yes. You don't need to buy any WSO. I 've read Fiverr Hurricane and honestly speaking, there was nothing new to read.

Understand first Fiverr is outsourcing site and marketers outsource work which they cant do or don't want do. So find out what services are hot or other terms which gigs are popular.
Try to provide more than that. for example if popular banner creation gig is providing 1 banner in 4 days , you provide 2 in 2 days.

Put a video describing your gig properly. You can outsource on fiver for this video.

Invest in a tool or software which can make your work easy.

Encourage your buyers to buy again, provide bonus, provide discount provide more for repeat buyers.

Encourage them to put positive reviews. Repeat customers and positive reviews can crate a good impression of your gig.

I have been on Fiverr from long back but hardly got sale. But from last month I am getting continuous orders and promoted as level 1 gig providers using above mentioned points.

You need to build rep, create many gigs in categories that are not saturated, add tags that are relevant to your gigs.

You might want to look at youtube and forums for promoting yourself.

Starting is always hard, use other sources to bring traffic to your gig, you will not gain much traffic from Fiverr right away.

Also, whatever you're offering, whether it's a service or a product, you want to somehow try and get them to opt-in your mailing list. If you're selling a product through fiverr, like say a video, you can have a secondary free offer at the end with a call to action.

NOTE: You can't force them to sign-up before receiving the product however. That's against fiverr's tos I believe.

Also, i ran a facebook campaign about 9 months back sending traffic to my fiverr gig. I almost broke even on the campaign. So, I figured if I had a solid backend offer to offer at the end of the product, I could get somewhere with it. Soooo, I tried the same campaign a month ago, and it was a complete bust. Zero sales.

Maybe it has to do with Facebook's alleged bot clicks?

MY QUICK FIVERR ADVICE:

1. Title:
Keep your title short, simple, and to the point. Add keywords, and take advantage of the one word caps option. Example, "I will __ review your YOUTUBE music video, song, audio". Notice how the title is very simple but the main word, which is "Youtube" is capitalized. Also noticed how I added 4 keywords: music, video, song, audio. Very important to get you more viewers. You can also lengthen the title with more keywords "I will __ review your YOUTUBE music video, song, audio to get you more traffic comments".

2. Categories.
Find someone in your category who is selling a similar product with success and see where they are locating it. Sometimes changing your product from say the "Business" category to the "Online Marketing" category can mean a huge difference. Also, make use of the subcategories. Play around with these. Tip: You can create 2 similar gigs, place them in different categories and see which yields more traffic.

3. Photo.
Spend a good chunk of your time coming up with a good photo. Make sure that when you see it in an icon size, it still stands out. Be realistic about what gets people's attention and try to keep the image as close to what you are selling as possible.

4. Description.
Again, be simple and start of with "I will" and restate your service plainly. Once you speak in plain terms, now add some kind of a HOOK or a key reason why they should try you. Hooks can sometimes be FREE gifts or maybe just EXPRESS DELIVERY. In other words, something extra that may help your cause.

5. Feedback.
When you make a sale, literally ASK for feedback because the majority of buyers will not leave you feedback.

6. Upsell/Cross promot.
When you actually get a buyer, don't lose him! Try to offer him a better deal on the same service or offer them something like a buy 1 get 2 free on your gigs if possible.

7. Market yourself.
Start your own social site to promote yourself. The easiest places are twitter/tumblr as you can make use of their keyword/tag searches to get fast, free exposure.

8. Competition.
Be competitive and make sure what you are offering is a good deal and especially at the beginning a better deal than what others offer. Sometimes, when you are just starting you need to work more to get feedback and get started than to make a real profit. Once you have at least one sale under your belt and a rating, you can concentrate more on profits.

9. Expand. Add more gigs and fill your 20 gig limit if possible. Wait maybe a month and see which gigs sell and which do not. Add/delete/edit gigs to see what yields you more traffic/sales. Always make sure you are expanding your business.

10. Experiment with fads/popularity. You may go to Fiverr planning on selling something unique and uncommon - which if great, if you're a hit then you'll have very little competition. However, certain services are popular for a reason, the demand is high. So why not search the highest rated gigs and see if anything that is really hot is something that you can also do and jump on that bandwagon.

The problem with Fiverr is that the minimum pay is very less, you are better off selling your services here in Warrior Forum or Elance or Odesk.

Hey hypr you need to optimize and promote your gigs. Get title and description optimized for your customers....Upload videos....Promote your gigs outside Fiverr....Get feedback once you receive an order...

Show something unique and one of a kind ideas, one of that is making viral videos that you can post so will pay attention to it and will LIKE your FB post. You can also endorse your post directly to your friends and ask for their help by spreading your ideas.

Visit fb group realated with your gigs, not just fiverr topics but your gigs topics.

In my early days I started by contacting the people who wanted fiverrs doing - they are listed on the right hand side green panel.

In those days, it worked out that one in 20 people I contacted actually purchased - I had to create gigs to match. It built a decent amount of useful feedback.

As most of you guys said, the real problem is trying to sell at the begining, but you need to be persistent and share as much as you can your gigs without spamming, I'm sure after that and maybe if you reach level 2 or more things will be more easy, also because of the fiverr extras

Over offer in the beginning to get those initial sales and reviews and hopefully help you on your way to level 1 and eventually level 2. Once you get that flood of sales, edit the gig to a more reasonable workload where it's worth doing for $4.

I think you should have believed in yourself and not worry about how many experienced guys there are on Fiverr. You should spread your listing all over the internet and you will find results in your favor very often.

See what's selling well and has lots of demands on Fiverr. You can check out how top sellers write up their gigs and try to create your gig like them. I'm not saying copy per se but you can mimic and make your gig look more detailed ie: include samples, videos, write up a description that's more complete, etc.

You need to make good gigs. you can make a video about your service also. as you are a new to fiverr, it is hard to get an order here, when you will have some reputation, you will get more & more order easily.
