A list of paypal alternatives.
I have seen some concern about paypal recently from many warriors and around the net in general. So i figured i would give back and make a list of paypal alternatives that you can use.
- ING direct person2person -This comes free with a checking account and allows you to transfer money freely just like paypal. Although it isnt widespread used it is an alternative.
- Amazon Payments- This is amazons competitive launch towards paypal. When sending money you can choose to use email or phone number. The best part is there is no charge for their service.
- Serve - This is very similar to Amazon payments and is offered from American express.
- Liberty Reserve - This is a great alternative to paypal and only charges 1%. This is very popular to use outside of the states, especially in the middle east.
- Skrill (formerly moneybooker) - This is the closest to a carbon copy of paypal. They have recently re branded and now are offered in almost every country in the world with over 100 payment methods.
- Square - You get a free card reader to swap credit cards and an app to process the order. At the moment they are charging 2.75% per swipe.
- Mobilized - Similar to square this is an app that comes with a free card reader and they charge 2.69% per swipe plus .19$ per swipe.
