Can this work - advertising on PTC sites to build a list

I've thought up a new possible method to get a populated list - create a free product, eg how to make money from PTC. Offer it for free but with an opt in list. Then advertise it on neobux or other OTC sites. Can this work?

    PTC site users are the lowest quality of internet users so NO. They are wasting time clicking ads just to earn a couple of cents so what can we expect from them? I would not recommend using that method..

    Agree With Adie, PTC got lowest quality of users. That is wastage of time and money as well. mostly PTC users doesn't see ads they just click and want bucks.so totally wastage!

    It depends. Remember, most PTC people are from parts of the world where .01 USD per click or less is somewhat worthwhile. So if your trying to build a LIST that will try to upsell them to Make Money Online deals these better fit their budgets (which is quite low by US standards).

    So you have to make sure your offer fits their means. I suggest doing NICHE-based blog relationship building. It's more meticulous but its FREE and pays off both in direct links, Search Engine traffic, and social media traffic in the long haul.     I tend to agree with the advice of others on low quality traffic. On the other hand successful marketers appear as crazy to others until they pull off something unbelievable. If you think you can take your idea and turn it into a success by all means GO FOR IT!

    You can use it to build a list, but you will need a very powerful funnel to filter about 95% of them.

    I don't think it's worth it.

    Don't be tempted because it's cheap, I know the feeling..
