What to use to create a squeeze page?

OK, might be a bit of a silly question, but my html knowledge is pretty poor, so I I'd like to find an easier way to create a squeeze page than using kompozer or other html editors.

So here are my options (but feel free to add other ideas if you got them)

1) Create a WP site with artisteer (no side bars or header menu) and create pages in it to act as landing pages. Problem here is that regular pages would have the page name as the header (and don't give you options to edit colors, font or highligh it) So not ideal.

2) marketerplugin.com - WP plug in that allows you to create pages with drag & drop, going by the video looks really cool, fast and easy to use with amazing flexibility.
Problem here is that it doesn't appear you can use this to change configuration of your site, So if your site has a side bar/header menu, it looks like the landing page created will also have the side bar etc. Obviously don't want a squeeze page with other things people can click on, on it. Another thing it isn't 100% clear if you can use it on web sites that you are creating for/selling to other people. (going with no though, since there is a developer license)

3) flexsqueeze.com/flexsqueeze/ - a WP theme, but has a really nice looking editor to create landing pages. Kind of expensive though, especially developer license. Also it seem like it's subject to the same problem as above - sidebars/navigation would show up on the "squeeze page" if the main theme had them (unless there is an option to remove side bars/navigation on specific pages, which seems doubtful)

4) 2clickcapture.com | Instantly Create Killer Sites - got this from fiverr. Seems pretty limited compared to above two, very little as far as graphics go (arrows, buttons, check marks etc.) and seems a good deal less flexible than above 2.
On the plus side it creates html pages, so no need to worry about how they interact with the rest of the site (no navigation menus) or having to keep the wordpress ite updated etc. Plus I already have access to it.

So, is there a better/easier way to create landing pages? I'd love to find something with the flexibility of option 2 or 3, that create html pages.

Well, let me know what you guys think I should use. And if you have any personal experience with any of those (or can recommend something else) I'd like to hear it.

Hi mate - if you are using Wordpress then do a search for 'lead rocket' on here....

Great for fast, simple squeeze pages - and the beauty is you can use it with any wordpress theme.

    J Smith,

Why don't you just outsource it? Tell your designer exactly what you want, then reverse engineer it.

Personally, I don't make my own squeeze pages. I write the headline or create the video, but I outsource it to people I know at Fiverr. Once I have the page, I can update it and do what I want with it.

Currently, my page converts at 55% in my niche. Not too bad for 5 bucks

    Cheers.

OptimizePress costs $97, one off payment (It was when I bought it anyway) and will save you so much hassle that you would happily pay ten times that a year down the line.

If you're looking for something free - download Kompozer, there are plenty of youtube videos showing you how to use it.

But, like I said - OptimizePress is going to be your best bet if you have $97 to spare.

Looks like OptimizePress is the consensus best. There are two problems with it though, one it seems the standard license only allows you to build sites for yourself (obviously not a problem for IM, but is a problem for off line if I am building it for clients)
And two, it seems that a lot of the default stuff is aimed at IM (text on buttons etc) and may be less than ideal for off line clients. Might not be an actual problem depdning on how much flexibility you have changing all this stuff.
It does seem to offer a lot of aditional things, although I don't have a use for them atm.

Lead Rocket looks pretty good, but I need more of a traditional squeeze page, and lead rocket for lack of better word seems best for creating mini squeeze pages. Not that it's bad, just not necessary what I need atm.

I really like the marketerplugin.com at least going by the video showing how it works, it seems to offer the most flexibility for squeeze and landing pages designs, plenty of graphics to use as well, whcih is nice.

ShaneBoyd - that's the road I will take eventually, but there are so many providers on fiverr, hard to pick the right one, any one you recommend? PM me if you feel like sharing

I do a lot of advertising on traffic exchanges and safelists, and the service I use is called Adkreator.

You will have to upgrade, but it's super simple to paste in the aweber code and move everything about. The major plus point is that it also hosts everything for you and is brilliant if you want to brand yourself and appear different to all the other templates.
