What to use to create a squeeze page?
So here are my options (but feel free to add other ideas if you got them)
1) Create a WP site with artisteer (no side bars or header menu) and create pages in it to act as landing pages. Problem here is that regular pages would have the page name as the header (and don't give you options to edit colors, font or highligh it) So not ideal.
2) marketerplugin.com - WP plug in that allows you to create pages with drag & drop, going by the video looks really cool, fast and easy to use with amazing flexibility.
Problem here is that it doesn't appear you can use this to change configuration of your site, So if your site has a side bar/header menu, it looks like the landing page created will also have the side bar etc. Obviously don't want a squeeze page with other things people can click on, on it. Another thing it isn't 100% clear if you can use it on web sites that you are creating for/selling to other people. (going with no though, since there is a developer license)
3) flexsqueeze.com/flexsqueeze/ - a WP theme, but has a really nice looking editor to create landing pages. Kind of expensive though, especially developer license. Also it seem like it's subject to the same problem as above - sidebars/navigation would show up on the "squeeze page" if the main theme had them (unless there is an option to remove side bars/navigation on specific pages, which seems doubtful)
4) 2clickcapture.com | Instantly Create Killer Sites - got this from fiverr. Seems pretty limited compared to above two, very little as far as graphics go (arrows, buttons, check marks etc.) and seems a good deal less flexible than above 2.
On the plus side it creates html pages, so no need to worry about how they interact with the rest of the site (no navigation menus) or having to keep the wordpress ite updated etc. Plus I already have access to it.
So, is there a better/easier way to create landing pages? I'd love to find something with the flexibility of option 2 or 3, that create html pages.
Well, let me know what you guys think I should use. And if you have any personal experience with any of those (or can recommend something else) I'd like to hear it.
