Affiliate WP themes

Hi, I saw some cool themes at Magento - Home - eCommerce Software for Growth, but all involve shopping carts.

Does anyone know of any theme/s which have a similar layout, list thumbnails of products etc but instead of linking to a shopping cart, they follow your amazon affiliate link?

I'm having trouble finding these. All seem to be shopping carts. (I know that specific site is for stores - but someone may know of a site with similar things)

    hi missmystery,

    as far as i know most templates can be customized to add/remove the functionality your looking for

    did a a search on the magneto site and looks like others have the same problem with this theme

    Magento

    hopefully you can find the answer in there, i did look through one of the threads and seems like they were able to remove it

    Hmm, yeah I had a look there - I'm sure it could be done, but like they say, it's a heavy ended thing and it's pointless having all that code for something if you're going to delete half the dynamics.. I was hoping someone knew of a place to download themes where you don't have to modify them - and are made for this purpose.

      depends on the style your looking your for, guessing its the magneto ones

      if you do a search in the WSO's for amazon, theres a bunch of themes that are designed specifically for amazon and dont have the shopping cart

      Modifying a theme with an experienced coder isn't as difficult as you think MM.

      Recently I had a lot of mods done to a Studiopress theme by a coder on odesk and he made the changes live while I was IM chatting with him on Skype.

      From memory, it cost about $30 in total to get all the changes I wanted done.

      However, it's important to know EXACTLY how you would like an existing theme modified to save money and time.

    Hmm, thanks. I'm also looking for one that will fit an opt in list box on the side. It's hard to find a good one, there was one here i was going to buy but it's bugged.

    I just need a simple, good theme for an affiliate to use, magazine style, doesn't cost an arm and a leg, and actually works.

    I've been trawling through google and nothing has helped, I've trawled through this site, the theme I work bugs out when I install it, I just have so many problems.

    It's hard to keep trying when you fail before you even begin, over and over again.

    I don't think I can risk spending 67 us dollars on a theme, when I just bought a paid one and it bugged out. I wish these things came with a trial.
