Reminder: Rule #1 is NOT OPTIONAL...

This is a public service announcement reminding you about "Rule # 1", folks...

The Warrior Forum is yet again starting to be treated as a "call out the marketer who gypped me, NOW will you give me support?" forum.

Why not just tell Allen to go crap in his hat, that you want what you want, need what you need, and will do as you please?

It's somebody else's house here. Respect the rules.

It's understandable that gripers feel an overwhelming need to gripe - they view themselves as victims... and sometimes they even are.

Everyone recognizes that there are far more than too many scumbag, dirtball, low-rent, sleazy, no-good grinches that absolutely deserve every vile comment hurled their direction.

But nonetheless, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR IT.

Sometimes the rules don't always perfectly serve every situation - but taken on the whole, they are crucial to maintaing sanity and order with 100,000+ members of varying degrees of ethics, honesty, competence, and experience.

What may be keeping you from raising a legitimate stink about something unjust also protects you from having nothing but BS, (f)lamewars and troll-fests dominate the conversation.

The main overriding rule for this forum is this:

If you have a problem with another Warrior, a Guru, or God, take it up with them directly. Not here. No exceptions.
Like Hamilton told Spicoli in Fast Times At Ridgemont High, "Read it... Learn it... LIVE IT..."

Best,

Brian

    Agree 100%.

Now, where do threads like "Clickbank ripping off affiliates" fall into that rule?

There seems to be Rule #1, then there seems to be an interpretation of that rule. Personally, I think "Company X is (insert negative accusation here)" threads are in violation.

Again, you can ask for feedback, get help, ask about a policy, or how Company X handles things - it can all be done in a professional manner - wthout resorting to grade school name calling.

    All the best,
    Michael

I disagree. I think it's optional. We all have a choice whether to follow that rule or not.

Coincidentally, choosing to NOT follow that rule tends to be directly linked to "choosing" to take permanent leave of the forum...

    Cheers,
    Becky
