Affiliate links on review page

Hey

From experience, could I ask if you think it is better to have your affiliate link near the top of the page, in middle or at the bottom?

My theory is - If the link is at the bottom, the visitor then can read your whole review before clicking over to the vendor.

If you do it right, the answer is "yes"...

    Take the typical Amazon review.

At the top, you have the name of the product and maybe a photo, both linked to the product page on Amazon.

Somewhere in the middle will be a link to "read further reviews" or some such, linked to that portion of the product page.

At the end of the review will be a call to action, either a text link or a 'buy now' button.

The same can be done for many products, with links to feature lists, guarantees, etc.
