How much would you pay for 600 clicks?

Just wondering what the pricing would be on something like this?

Clicks would be Niche specific but not Geographically targeted.

Lemme know!
#600 #clicks #pay

Seems a vague question.. Are you asking about PPC? It depends on how tight the competition is...

Does this mean you'd rather have 10,000 clicks that convert at a rate of 0% than 600 clicks that convert at a rate of 10%?

It has nothing to do with the volume of clicks or even the price but everything to do with conversion and the mathematics to calculate ROI.

It would depend on the niche. Some niches are worth way more than others.

International traffic is worth less than country-specific traffic, so you are already taking a hit there.

You really need to figure out what your Typical EPC is.. Once you figure that out then you can see just how much to pay per click

This is pretty much the right answer. I see so many marketers doing this backwards.
If you pay a fee (let's say, $100 for 1000 clicks), then you want to already have tested your landing page etc, to ensure that you consistently earn at least $100 per thousand clicks to break even so that you can do more testing and tweaking, but better yet, you want to earn over $100 with those thousand clicks so that you are in profit, minus the the fee you paid to get that traffic. Most new online advertisers have so much faith in their product and presentation, that they hold the idea that 1000 visitors or even 10000 visitors will result in hundreds of sales, but quickly realize otherwise. Unfortunately at the cost of hundreds of dollars.

List owner sends the email offer of click buyer to his list.
Basically he is sending email subscribers to buyer's
squeeze page or any other page.

Depending on the niche look at stumbled upon paid.

10c a stumble (so $60 or 600 visits) ... I've had some crazy results with ths... The traffic seems great... But I think it's all dependent on the niche.

            It depends.

If I knew those clicks would convert at 1%, and I charge $50 for my product, then I'd be willing to pay up to $300.

            My break-even is:
            (600*0.01) = 6 sales
6*$50 = $300 profit (assuming digital product; if you have costs associated, then obviously consider those)

            price for clicks - $300 = 0

Therefore I can pay up to $300 for clicks. As long as I can find clicks in that price range, then I have a viable product/conversion rate that can take advantage of paid traffic.

I might even consider paying a little more if I knew I'd pick up back end sales (I charge $50 up front, but many customers often purchase a $199 back end offer).

If however, I convert at 1/2% and charge $10 for my product, then my break even point is:
            (600*0.005) = 3 sales
            3 sales * $10 = $30 profit
            price for clicks - $30 = 0

And therefore, I can't pay more than $30 for 600 clicks.

Since it isn't likely to find 600 clicks for $30, it is a signal that I need to consider alternative traffic methods or possibly even work on my sales techniques to get a better conversion. It is also possible the product just isn't in demand.

What's this clicks thing anyway??? When I'm buying clicks (traffic) the ONLY thing (two actually) I care about:

    1) How much does it cost me to get a subscriber
    2) What do I return on my OTO
    3) Am I giving good value

Ok - I lied there are three

Seriously though - I got stung very badly on a solo recently that came from a very well known supplier (name withheld to protect the not so innocent)

My metrics told me it cost me $2.31 to get a subscriber on my list!

So you gotta know your numbers and you gotta know who's the big bad wolf and who's granny.

Oh, something else to think about - it's amazing sometimes how quickly a subscriber gets off your list when they've had the freebie you've worked so hard to put together.

On the upside - buying traffic IS a sound business plan but you need a flippin' big spreadsheet to get it right :-)

    Cheers

Probably nothing. I see the reemergence of click farms popping up all over where people pay like a penny a click for some poor schumck in a third world country who sits all day clicking links and earns a penny for every five or ten clicks. Really targeted, huh?

Then people on fiverr and other low rent venues resell this crap for whatever they can get. Without more information I think of an origin-unknown "click" as being absolutely worthless, less than worthless if you pay for it.

101% right - DO NOT buy clicks on Fiverr - period.

157 unique clicks = 1 opt in (just had a look at the flippin big spreadsheet!)

It depends on the type of advertisement too, and over-delivery. Somewhere in between .35/click is what i pay.

Higher quality ads run in the upper .50-.60/click range though.
