So I've been doing a lot of studies with Facebook lately. Many to do with site traffic, getting social media attention and other awesome stats.

Well recently I created a site in relation to one of my largest Facebook pages.

The Facebook page has more than 138,000 fans now and gains hundreds daily. Heck there are some posts that have been seen by more than 300,000 people in less than 24 hours.

So, I'm working on using the Facebook audience I've gathered to gain a lot of ground on a new site I'm developing.

You can see the page referred to in the title here:

Cortana | Halo 4 Tips

The power of Facebook is truly amazing, I've been able to acquire hundreds of likes/shares on pages in a matter of hours, sometimes even receiving shares from big YouTubers, gaming personas, and even famous people.

Now onto conversions.

How in the #!^$ do I make conversions? It's actually pretty easy.

With Facebook, one thing I've noticed is that they are clickers. They like to mess around with things that interest them, especially if they are 100% targeted.

But more than that, they love responding to questions.

So, here's a awesome tip to get you started with Facebook monetization.

Direct the Facebook traffic to a page where you are directly targeting your audience. Have that page list some type of poll (you can use WuFoo, which is my favorite), and have the poll then redirect to an offer once it's filled out. Usually CPA and affiliate offers do pretty well. If you can get a lot of traffic like me, then you'll be pulling in a lot of cash each time you do it, just don't spam your fans.

Anyhow, I just wanted to share some quick stats, information, and give you an insight into one of my recent projects. I'll gain no benefit from sharing the site (since you aren't targeted viewers most likely), and since I already have such a huge audience, I'm not really afraid.

Note: I actually have the largest highly targeted audience for Halo 4 in the world as someone that isn't apart of the actual company.

Hope this gives you some insight into Facebook traffic and how it can easily be monetized.

One last thing,

I hear people always saying "Facebook traffic isn't profitable", pssh, they have no clue what they are talking about if they haven't tried multiple audiences, monetization techniques, and ideas. Some niches might not be profitable, but that doesn't mean every niche isn't. My most profitable Facebook pages have actually had less than 300 fans

I know, I was confused too lol. Decreasing fans doesn't really make sense. And just to note for anyone out there thinking I have fake fans, my page receives thousands of likes, comments, and shares weekly. The community is more than alive and don't just comment on the page, but any site I link them to.

I do not support fake fans for pages and definitely hope that anyone using those techniques ends up getting banned (of course if proven guilty). The reason I say that is because there are also competitors that could try to spam fans to competition to make it seem like they are cheating.

For the ones that are getting stuck with their page not getting viral, check out more regarding your edgerank of you FB page. As for monetization, I observed that most are starting up with building an entertainment page and expect to become millionaire with that kinds of targeting As OP said, some things are working better than others, some don't. So, mix, test, find out.

@Lamatic, I actually enjoy the like to unlock scripts, but I don't use them personally. I'd rather someone come to my site and legitimately like the content and take it into their own hands liking my page.

Another idea, is to add a like button all across your site that links directly to your Facebook page itself, that's definitely a way to get a lot of fans if you can get traffic to your site. Because no matter what, if someone likes a piece of content you have, they'll be liking your page.

Also I wanted to clarify something even further so people can actually see my traffic live on this project: Histats - Summary > www.halo4tips.org/

I'm building partnerships with some of the largest YouTube channels in the industry, have people who write content 100% free, have moderators that work for free, and I've been in touch with some very big people in the industry as well. Having a Facebook "fan page" is definitely the way to go if you want to build your reputation in a specific niche. For me, that's in gaming, more specifically, Halo games. I've been playing them since I was young, hence why I relate to my audience.

Facebook fans/likes shouldn't be THE topic of discussion. It should only be how to turn your likes/fans into money. I wouldn't even lead my brand new website visitors there first. They go straight to my site where i convert them into sales. And if they want to like me on FB... fine, that's cool too.

I definitely agree. But since acquiring fans are apart of internet marketing, it's important to talk about.

Acquiring fans is one thing and making money with those fans is another.

The ways that I've been making an income with my fan pages is primarily via affiliates lately, but I have found that they convert very high on CPA leads. The only problem with CPA leads is that once you start promoting them, your fans begin to trust you less.

Trust is extremely important because you want your fans to like/share things across the network as a whole.

With affiliates you have complete control over what you promote to your fans and can actually get a glimpse into who your fans are and what they will buy and won't buy while browsing Facebook.

Above anything, trials convert pretty well in my case studies and although ppc ads don't convert into as much clicks as search traffic, social traffic from Facebook aren't terrible with them. If you place your PPC ads properly you can get a lot of clicks.

With my page that I'm sharing here, that's a huge audience, but I've been able to make lots of money from very small audiences as well. If you can find people who are in the beginning stages of buying something, then you're on the right track.

For example, consider targeting someone who is looking for a smart phone (like the iPhone 5) and promote ring tones, apps, etc. to them. Once they've purchased the phone, they're likely going to want to get all the hook ups ASAP.

My audience is 1 1/2 months away from the launch of a huge video game, so you can see why I'm not monetizing entirely yet. I want them to start clicking on my links exactly 14 days prior to the release, that way when the game comes out and they buy it, I'll be much more likely to receive the commission.

P.S. My affiliate has a 15 day tracking code. Hence why I feel this is the right direction. I may be wrong, but we'll see.
