The Slow Way To Use Blogs for Traffic

What I mean by slow is you're not going to get over 50% probably of the effort you put in but there is minimal effort so I think this is still a good method.

I have 6(or so blogs) and I realized I had one follower on two of my blogs using the same strategy.

She was liking posts on wordpress. Very rarely commenting, but massively pressing the like button. This got her name and picture out there and within a few months her blog was doing much better than many of mine.

So I decided to copy her. On wordpress you have a reader of blogs you are following, you can also search tags and get a reader list. You go down that list and like the blogs that you feel connected to without even having to click on their pages. You can then click on them later to give good comments and if you don't think your comment was seen send a message to the blog owner.

Personally, I have loved follow-ups from fellow bloggers and for most of my blogs I moderate comments so I see every comment coming in and always give tons of respect to the commenters even if I hate their blogs, I will give them feedback.

This builds relationships, which in my experience builds comments. On a day when I have low views, all I have to do is look at my reader of blogs I already feel a connection to and press like. Then it gives me many ideas for later comments or posts on my own blogs or social media.

So please instead of leaving crappy comments to get traffic, just like, like, and like to your hearts content. Your icon showing up enough will give the blog owner and many of the regular comments the initiative to check you out.

It has given me lots of traffic since I tried this technique.

    For liking posts Michael?

I know the woman who uses this technique is very legitimate and when she leaves comments she leaves good ones. She also likes things that are related to her topic, which is the same thing I do.

I noticed her icon everywhere and checked out her site and I've noticed others have done the same thing for me...sometimes I can't leave comments everyday but I can press like then go back and leave comments later during the week.

I have been using this strategy for years but on Facebook rather than wordpress. You simply "like" people's comments on fan pages. Works like a charm.
