spent the day researching a couple site ideas id like to move foward in

does there come a point where you can run out of unique or original content to add to the site, what else can you really say ... if so, how would you keep the site relevant

There are an unlimited amount of potential ideas about anything and everything. I don't think it is necessary to run out of quality content to potentially create.

Just go to Fiverr and see what people are willing to dp just for 5 bucks. Some of the stuff are pretty unique and give you lots of ideas

Probably not as long as you don't have one of those EMD that are only about a single product. If you do, then yes you are going to run out of ideas.

But otherwise, the world is just too big to run out of ideas, or I guess a better way to say it, its too big to run out of ways to present ideas. Especially if you are running Wordpress as a CMS. You could create hundreds of posts and pages about almost any topic.

Just Google something like 50 headlines for blog posts or 50 ideas for blog posts, and then look at the different lists you wind up with and think about how you can incorporate your site topic into those lists.

It works like gangbusters, I already do this so I know it works.

And even if you can't find a list like those top 50, you could start a series about using your "site topic" in every state in the United States, or every city in California or almost anything.

Then just think about the enormous amount of long tail articles you are going to have. :-)

You'll never run out of content. Take a look at adwords and get new keyword ideas. Keep on writing, posting videos, images and you'll have no problems creating content.

I have written over 700 articles on diabetes and every article is unique so I can tell you that if you have a lateral thinking mind, you can find lots more than you think you can.

probably being a bit naive about this, you wrote 700 articles on one site or wrote those for others

when i goto site, before i do any " action " , im checking alot things, is it up to date or on auto-pilot, is it a list builder ( fine, ill use my spam account for that ), is the site doing due diligence on upkeep, is the content unique

i have about 3 months worth of post i can use but is it scammy to spread it out for 3 months or put it all up ... if i put it all up, how would you go foward

There is generally a limitless amount of content you can create you just need to think creatively for instance a niche on nail polish might lead into looking at nail art or gel nails or nail care. You just need to think ... "What is relevant to my niche?"

I wrote those 700+ articles for a client. She used them in a couple of sites and maybe other stuff too. I don't know. But every article was unique.

Use article templates. Ezinearticles have a bunch of them that you can use.

By the way, if you're a TOTAL expert in your niche... you more than likely shouldn't have this problem.

  • Sleika,

Sometimes it can be tough coming up with new content. Try engaging your network for ideas or perhaps others in your industry. sometimes it can seem like a struggle, but besides random google searches.. these ideas work for me.

Going to forums on my niche and seeing what problems people are having

searching google scholar for scientific papers on my niche. This way not only do you have some new information, but you can quote actual references that are sound, not just random opinions.

      Cheers!

    Hi Sleika,

There is a ton of ideas you can think of to write your articles. Take a quick read through larger blog sites in your niche and notice how they have a lot more ideas than the competitors in their niche.

A word of advice, that I learnt from interviewing a few successful businessmen is that you have to always be a step ahead of your competitors, in both offline and online businesses. For example, Google is always a step ahead of Yahoo and Microsoft is always a step ahead of Linux!

Maintaining good content on your website frequently is the key to an awesome site, such that you can redirect your audience to solutions which they are interested in! Use the Google Adwords - Keyword Analyser tool to have a broad search on your niche and get an overall idea of what people are searching for. Solve the problems for them and your site will be great.

As a writer myself, I know the feeling of running out of content frequently and sometimes, I search for the good articles regarding my niche and spin the content such that they are 100% unique. What article spinners do is they completely rewrite the article for you and changes words to synonyms, but I take extra care with the articles published on my own site. A software is never completely reliable and I would re-read through the spun content and make the sentence structure more readable.

I've written a massive guide on Content Spinning, you might want to check it out for a more in-depth explanation on the topic.

Sometimes writing content can be a struggle especially if you site is a NICHE specific site.

What I think you can do is get away from the keyword research tool and start looking at what people are talking about in your niche. If your in a dog niche, look at what people want to know about that specific niche. This can get your juices flowing and help you think about new content to write about.

The imagination has no limits, so I think it's impossible to run out of ideas. Finding the right places to get some ideas from is a good proactive step: read blogs about your niche, go on 9gag even, watch some youtube videos, etc. Get inspired! The occasional "block" happens every now and then AND personally I add a fresh perspective to the mix -- I outsource.

    Cheers!
