ClickBank HopLink HTML Question

INTERNET MARKETING

When I get a hoplink from clickbank it gives me the bare link and the link inside <a href=" ">.

It doesn't really explain what to do with either of them so I just used the bare link and put it in the nav bar on my site.

Above the other link in clickbank it says "Copy the following HopLink HTML code and add it to your web page:"

So do I have to implement both of them in my site or can I just use the bare link?

You can use the bare link... just make sure you mask it behind your website presell page or redirect page address.

What do you mean "mask it"? So far I just put the bare link in my nav bar, and in the text of a few of my articles. (Obviously with different anchor text)

  In Warrior Randall's signature, you'll see the the HTML code used correctly. One for text (keywords) and the other using an <img src=....> code added before the </a> ending.

The bare link is there if you want to add the CB link to images or you want to use it in an email.

The typical way of using the CB link is as a HTML link in your content, eg:

<a href="http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/...">Click here to earn millions</a>

If you use WordPress, most people use the "Pretty Link Lite" plugin to hid the ugly CB links into something like:

http://yoursite.com/cbproductname
