    I don't have ONE question but what I would want to know is:

    Overhead costs for using Amazon FBA vs a 3rd party pick n pack service. Is FBA more expensive? Do they deliver a better service for the cost? Are there intangible benefits for using FBA when selling on Amazon vs another PnP service? Can you use Amazon FBA from your own website direct sales as well as selling on Amazon?

    Are there any Terms of Service issues newbies should be aware of that could cause their account to be banned or suffer penalties?

    How does one go from part-time FBA with decent income to full-time FBA with steady income?

    I've been doing FBA since 06/2012 with great results, but would like to take it to the next level. Any advice appreciated.

      Generally speaking, no.

      Do they deliver a better service for the cost?

      Oh, yes indeedy.

      Amazon handles returns and customer service when you use FBA. This can be huge. Unless you really like processing returns...

      Are there intangible benefits for using FBA when selling on Amazon vs another PnP service?

      No, they're all pretty tangible.

      When you use FBA, your products qualify for Amazon Prime. You really, really want your products to qualify for Amazon Prime. (Or Super Saver Shipping.)

      Can you use Amazon FBA from your own website direct sales as well as selling on Amazon?

      Yes. It's called multi-channel fulfillment. Here's the hitch, though: You have to list the product on Amazon even if you don't intend to sell it on Amazon. Your website price has to be at least 15% higher than the Amazon price.

      Are there any Terms of Service issues newbies should be aware of that could cause their account to be banned or suffer penalties?

      Yes. Do not open more than one Selling on Amazon account. Do not share your computer or IP address with another seller. You will be banned.

      How does one go from part-time FBA with decent income to full-time FBA with steady income?

      More inventory, broader selection. Identify market opportunities. Smaller items are better. There's a steep oversize fee for large FBA items.

      There's a lot of information on FBA freely available and there are discussion groups in Seller Central on Amazon. No need to buy a WSO.

        I'm newly signed up for FBA and I have my product and website with a different shopping cart.

        Can you direct me on information on how to integrate my shopping cart with FBA so that the buying cycle is all automatic? I'v looked through the seller central site, I've googled it and I've posted it on here before.

        I would really appreciate some help on this.

          If you have your own website, I guess you're using multi-channel fulfillment.

          I don't know of a way to integrate a shopping cart. You can create a file of the orders you receive and upload it. There's also a manual process.

          Most merchants put their goods on Amazon for the traffic and with FBA, the ease of fulfillment.

          You should certainly contact Seller Help (in Seller Central). They are really good about getting back to you, usually.

            Well Fluff,

            I tried to contact support several times and was on the phone. So I decided to go ahead and launch and just manually download the shipping instructions and upload to FBA.

            However, I can see that there will be way too many orders and since it is a monthly reorder with customers having the ability to change things, I need this all automated.

            Do you (or anyone else) have any suggestions?

            It is just one item that I'm selling.

    Has anyone figured out how to track ad-to-sales conversions within Amazon ?

    Trying to figure out which ads are working and which are not in regards to an Amazon FBA business is a headache bc Amazon won't share the source of a sale.

    I thought if there was a way to track the hourly ranking of product (which is based on sales) in conjunction with the number of clicks from a particular campaign I could deduce that an increase in the number of clicks at a particular time would correlate to an increase in sales at the same time.

    For example:
    Lets say today between 8-9am my rank jumped by 10% and this translates to 10 sales if I then saw that at the same time I had an increase in clicks from Google Campaign "a" then I could conclude that at least some of those clicks converted into sales.

    It is not a very elegant system but it is the the best i've come up with so far....
