Help!!! How to monetize my blogs (advice needed)

I´d like to monetize my two blogs.

My first blog has only about 1000 visitors per day and my second blog
has about 5000 unique visitors.

I know Adsense, but would like to hear about
other alternative services.

Can you also give me some tips on how to achieve a better
click-through-rate on banners and other ads?

Any help would be highly appreciated!

Adsense is good but you can try Clicksor and AdBrite...Even Lijit is a good alternative which I have been managing for the past 5 months (for one of my clients).
Your blogs get a significant number of traffic but what is going to matter is whether they are target traffic or ordinary traffic.

A better option is, rather than guessing, is poll your visitors and see what they want/need.

Also, check the demographics of your group and see what their general interests are. Then test various affiliate offers and fine tune your conversions.

It's a pretty straight forward process once you know your target market.

    HTH,

It definitely depends on what type of visitors they are. Without knowing that, it's hard to make a solid recommendation.

If the traffic isn't made up of major buyers, maybe CPA offers would be good for your site - things like email and zip submits.
