It's so true. Sometimes, I'll see FB friends post a status like this:

"Hey everyone, go check out my Facebook page and like it".

That doesn't really give motivation. You're basically asking everyone to do you a favor and endorse something that they're probably not interested in, and may not even agree with.

Before social media marketers attack me with their SS proof...just know this is mainly for those who spend too much time trying to get a like or a pin and +1 - rather than creating valuable content.

Everything has it's place. But if you're starting off, you don't need any of this stuff.

Just focus on creating content.

I created likable content.

More specifically, I did VIDEO critiques for some sales letters. Some said 'Thanks, this really helps my business...' while others said 'Let me HIRE YOU!'

Again... you don't need social media. The point is to create content.

Whether that's WSOs (that aren't hashed)... Helpful Blogposts... Youtube Videos showing how to do something....

ANYTHING that helps or reliefs a problem.

It is really good. But my tactics is better. I know there are lots of good and reliable sites who would provide you as much as likes as you want. All you need to do is to sign up with one of them. You can do it by yourself or you can do it by outsourcing. It's really easy task but result is awesome.

Problem is... people expect marketing strategy to be a 3 step formula to gaining facebook likes...

2 steps involve spamming, while the third is to breathe (and maybe the fourth is to tell them to like your stuff)...

Nothing about doing what you LOVE or what people want is ever really explained anymore. Do this, then add this like button...

I also saw a WSO that sold like crazy that had ALL sorts of social media buttons on the video screen, as if that's going to produce any real results.

Let people do what they wish. I don't care... but if you want to make money then do what people like.

You don’t need to tell them what to do.
