Hello,
I am new to this and wanted to know if the best way to start is to buy a ready to go website here......if so, who do you recommend.....and then market it like crazy. Any help or suggestions would be helpful....I just want to give myself the best way to succeed from people who have done this before.
Thank you.

The best way to start is by learning which direction you want to go ...There are so many avenues you can drive down and what can happen is, you drive in circles.

Learn what direction you want to go...before you venture out and get crazy with the "action"

Theres nothing wrong with your plan to start with, but if websites are what you want to work with, there really is no better way of learning than to build one yourself!.........My god! you will have some frustrating times trying, but when you get there and your site you built is up on the web, there is no better motivation to go out and market it good, as it will be your baby! mistakes will be made, but its the best way to learn.

If you are going to buy a ready made site, be sure to check all the reviews on the thread, ask lots of questions and please do due dilligence on the seller! hope it goes well for you!

    Hi and welcome,
If you're not willing to create your website yourself, which takes a lot of time I agree, then for instance there are clickbank niche stores that you can promote. But the problem is the website doesn't belong to you, so in case something happens, and it will eventually, then all your promotion efforts of the past will not generate passive income anymore, that's very important, although you could start with that and along the way you will want to have your own website anyway, so it's ok for a quick start but I wouldn't recommend it for long.

There's a million things you can do really.

Just remember to offer quality in everything you do, and start building a list from day 1

You gotta tell us more. What niche are you on? Do you have your own product/ or you want to promote someone else's as an affiliate? Do you have any experience in IN market, or none whatsoever?

Start from scratch so you can learn along the way. If you buy some established site and don't know how to manage it, chances are really high you'll fail. Just being honest. Build a new website, learn how to find keywords, optimize the website, add content, start doing SEO, monitize your website, and make money!

Do you know how to do anything well? Got a favorite hobby? Make a business out of it. If those 2 questions dont appeal to you... do some niche research and look for small niches that you can sell multiple products in. You could easily take over... just offer backend products when you start getting customers.

I hear a lot about turnkey websites, and I occasionally see someone who has made good money from them. It seems like a quick way to get a head start on your business, but I don't see it as a long-term income.

The idea is to buy a niche website that's pre-made by someone who hopefully has made money in that niche using a website just like the one you are buying. The biggest hitch I can see to that is, you're not the only one buying that website. If you think it looks good enough to buy, so will hundreds or thousands of other marketers.

So what you'll likely end up with is a site just like hundreds of other sites in the same niche - unless you do a considerable amount of customization to the site, I don't see where it could be that profitable.

Perhaps others with more experience will disagree...

As I'm sure everyone in here will tell you.

If I had to start all over, I would just focus on one thing and one thing only.

Building the list. Building your email list can be the most profitable part of your business. So I would just focus on that and that only

  • The simplest thing you can ever do is pretty much find a compelling, highly converting offer that also has great follow-ups and upsells - and then drive traffic to that.

A lot of gurus will nag you about that you have to set up your own funnels, your own brand, own products, own this and that, which is all fine and dandy, but when you're NEW and just starting out, you can just have these pre-made and already done for you (depending on whatever it is you're promoting) while all you do is master one skill (traffic) while everything else (including conversions, follow-ups, upsells, etc.) are done for you.

You just gotta find a system that has those things and pays you quickly enough so you can re-invest it back into the one thing you really need to focus on - marketing (heck, we're in internet MARKETING for cryin out loud. Not internet PROGRAMMING or internet DOING-EVERYTHING-YOURSELF-AND-OWNING-EVERYTHING.)

As you can see many people are big on building a list, if you are looking for a good list building course a lot of people recommend Chris Farrell's membership course (extremely newbie friendly). Personally I took a look at his course but it wasn't what I was looking for at the time so I didn't end up putting it into action, so I couldn't tell you for sure how good it is but I did see it had a lot of great tips that I see over and over again. As with anything if you do plan on a list building course take a look at some reviews of other list building courses and see what other people think and see what one you think will suit you best.

If I were to build a list now as a beginner, I would find something to offer for free (in exchange for their email of course)(an e-book of PLR info for example) that a buying audience would find of value, then I would promote it via sites that have authority and traffic already moving about them such as Youtube or Squidoo. Getting traffic to a new site is very difficult as a beginner but if you leverage sites that already have authority you will have a MUCH easier time.

    Hi,

I do not think that you are ready for internet marketing business.

You are just another person who has a big dream about earning money online.

If you do not learn from basic, you will destine to fail in the beginning.

    According to statistic,
    - only 5% of the population are making money online and
    - the other 95% of the population are just kept spending money on buying and do not even earn a single cent.

It is good to buy a ready-made website to start off your business. But it is more important to learn about how the system works.

    Take my words.

    All the best!

It is better to start a website from scratch because if you purchase a website which is already live, you will not be having the idea of previous activities that were carried out for the website promotion and if it is already a established site and you start with something else on the same site, it will be as good as working on a new website so it is better to think twice whether you want to start a website from scratch or you want to buy a website which is already live.
