Hey, I'm new to this would like some help

Hey all!

I would like to know how can I make money online? I'm new to all this. I am very well capable of making a site but don't understand how to make a profit of it.

I'm thinking about looking for local customers and ask them if they need a website and/or improve there new one but what if that fails? What else can I do?

I currently in need of all the advice that I can get as I need to survive off this, I had to quit my job

    Start looking at the posts on the offline marketing board....From there, you should start to formulate some good action plans!

      There are many ways to make money online/offline the trick is to pick one stick with it. The basic answer to make money is to take traffic with a problem or need and match it with a offer(solution).
      If you are very well capable of making a site I suggest building sites to sell on flippa or marketing on craigslist for offline business website needs.

    That's the right idea. You can make websites for money. Make yourself a sales page here on Warrior Forum and also get out and make websites for local customers. One trick you can use is to outsource your labor so you have time to get more customers. What kind of websites do you make? Blogs? Wordpress?

      Yea, I have basic understanding of front end and back-end development(html/css/php/javascrpting/etc). I'm not good nor nowhere near that word but I can get things to look how I want it to look.

    You mentioned you can create sites, and that you were going to market them to local businesses. Good plan! but I don't really understand why you are already asking for back up methods!!!

    You have a plan, stick to it, use this forum and the offline forum to learn ways of marketing your business and just go out and take action! simple as that!!

    By looking at alternatives already, you will fall into the next shiney object trap and end up doing nothing! like I said your plan is a viable one which many people make alot of money from, just learn how to do it effectively and you won't need a back up option!

    Find companies who have money, but for whatever reason, don't have a website..

    Then, send them a promotion.

    Don't overthink it!

    I know people making crazy money doing exactly what I described.

    And, once they trust you, they'll ask you about what else you can do to help.

    Hello, if your new to the world of internet marketing. Your are certainly in the right place. I hope you are learning the basics as they are important for you understand the concept behind internet/affilate marketing etc.

    Best places to start, The forums right here. Im sure you can go to the products section and purchase guides on how to start up. Most important is list building, product selling via CB etc. Have you got as niche you want to go into? Have you looked into what a micro-niche is.

    Really good for you to really gets to grips with the basics and then start up laying the foundations.

    You'll find good advice on this in the "offline marketing" section of this forum. But you could always start off with affiliate marketing - since i doubt you have no copywriting, product creation, and marketing talents... as of yet.
