Finally I am making money with Amazon but for some reason one thing is bothering me!

Hey Warriors,

I have created few websites since 2008 and I made few bucks here and there..I have been working on a site since January and it started to generate money in April/May..I was so happy since I didn't succeed but I never gave up..I am ranking for few good keywords at page 1 position 1 and getting some decent traffic and few sales everyday, from each 20 clicks I usually get a 1 sale so my conversion rate is 20%

The only thing that bothers me is Google, most of my traffic is coming from Google and I am always worried that within the next update I might lose my rankings, once the update happens and I gain more ranks, I start getting worried about the next update! and it goes on and on!

I know I can get traffic from other sources like article marketing/social sites...etc, but its still the same as Google, the traffic is not guaranteed and I can lose my traffic anytime. I cannot use PPC since I will lose money for sure, even if I had 100 sites I am still at risk as I am depending on other services to bring the traffic, I see the only way to stay safe is to create a product that has a demand and market it then people will talk about it since it actually solves a problem or helps in a way so it will always has a market or create a site that will have many loyal users that will come back daily for something.

I don't create "thin" sites and I don't do alot of SEO but I know alot about it as I try to avoid everything shady but as I mentioned Google or any other service can change their terms/ways and I can lose all my income.

What do you guys think?

      I can build more sites like mine, it took a while to figure out how to structure my site and do split testings to know what the users like or what pages they hate so I know how to structure everything to increase the clickthro rates but even if I built a 100 and Google/whatever service changed the way they present my site then I am basically going to be doomed..I am not a Debbie Downer lol but as I see it everything is temporary and if we depend on Google or whatever sites then we will never be able to quite the 9-5 jobs

    Also use youtube videos, just simple slideshows with good keywords, that will keep the organic search going.

    Hi,

    Google is one of the ways to get traffic.

    You can use other methods as well.

    I started IM not long ago.

    Now I have my own websites, my own products, my own way to drive traffic.

    If you depend only on Google, you can never be free from 9-to-5 day job!

    Multiple traffic channels is always advised. You are wise to realize any one traffic source can fail. This is why I always try to capture all the traffic I can via email address..
