What are these vendors doing with their CB products?

I see some of the top CB products have it set up like this.

domain.com- is like a written sales page with information, OPT IN FORM, option to buy etc...it looks like it would pass Adwords.

domain.com/xxx- is the actual traditonal video sales page that it will take you directly to from the CB marketplace if I wanted to promote it.

Im confused. So if I have a CB product I can promote the sales page that isnt my home page? So affilitaes would sell my product as domain.com/xxx/affil#

Or do affilates just send them straight ot the domain.com and hope they click through to the sales. Also theres an opt in on there which I know affilites hate so I dont think they sending them there.

I was loooking at Fat Loss Factor but I noticed this on others as well and just trying to figure out whats going on?

    With Clickbank you get to choose the hoplink url in your account. That is the url that people will be sent to after someone clicks on an affiliate link. You could set that as your homepage or any other page on your site.

    With the use of additional scripts, you can also allow your affiliates to promote a whole range of different pages on your site and get commissions for any sales made as a result.

    Hi there,

    just select a product from the Marketplace and click PROMOTE and you will get a HOPLINK that you can mas in sites like TinyURL and then just put it under your YouTube Videos or promote it in every place you think there are buyers for this product.

    And that's it...
