How can I track which affiliate's visitor bought my program?

Hey Warriors,

Been busting ass over here on my coaching program (link to my original coaching WF thread) and finally putting together the marketing portion of it.

I'm wanting to set up an affiliate program to help increase sales, while making sure the right affiliates get paid for the sales they sent my way.

Whats a simple, free way to track which affiliate sent me the visitor who bought my program?

    Hey Ender,

    There are many, many options out there which allow you to do this. There is Warrior Plus, JV Zoo, Product Pay, Rapid Action Profits and the list goes on. My question to you right off would be; How are you processing payments right now and do they have an affiliate tracking system?

    I have used many of the ones above and my own through my 1 Shopping Cart account.

      Thanks John, processing my payments through paypal right now, I'm pretty sure they don't have affiliate tracking, but I could be wrong. Bootstrapping here, and just looking for very basic (free) info: Customer 17 came from affiliate B. Thanks in advance!

        I would recommend you use the Warrior + $.01 Option where you pay $.01 for the payment system and the $19.00 balance after you have that much in sales, or the Warrior + Adaptive or JV Zoo system which do not have an upfront fee but rather a % per sale.

        There may be other free options out there but these come to mind the fastest. As you ramp up, consider Clickbank which I believe is currently $50 or Rapid Action Profits.

I'm looking into clickbank right now, would make my life a lot easier if everything on that end was handled for me...and opened up a whole world of potential affiliates to me. Reading through Clickbank's contract right now, trying to figure out if it'll work out for me. Appreciate the suggestion. Can I follow your affiliate link to sign up for clickbank and get you a commission if I sign up?

            I was assuming your niche was not in the IM niche, the warrior+ system here is good for tracking affiliates if your in the IM niche, people in the IM niche has caught on to the fact that they can download products for free in most cases, other niches are not that savvy.

    No worries at all,

    50 posts come pretty quick!

    One of my business partners and I just put a non IM product on Clickbank and have been very happy so far. The niche has affiliates in it, so we wanted to use them for payments and affiliate payments especially since we have a recurring product.

    You should be pretty pleased with them and the approval process was a breeze and that is sometimes an issue. If you go that route and have questions, let me know how I can help if you need it.

    Thanks for the guidance John. Unfortunately, the terms do not allow me to offer my professional services through Clickbank... Bummer, looked like a perfect solution. Now back to my original problem...how can I track which of my affiliates brought the customer who bought my coaching program...

    Hey Ender,

    I would recommend W+ or JV Zoo, they both use Paypal and have affiliate tracking and have a no upfront cost option, though depending on what you have, each offers a 1 time payment option of under $20.

    Product pay may offer the same thing but I have not used them yet. They are pretty new as an option, but the numbers they have been putting up and the support they provide have been very impressive.
