I'm new to internet marketing - Where can I start?

Hey dude welcome to the forum.

Well there are loads of places you can start and that's really the main hurdle to first overcome.

You will be thrown obstacles every second of the way in this business, but learn to battle and overcome that, and you will be successful.

So where to start?

1. Research all the different ways to make money. Don't go spending money etc if you don't no all the methods first. Just write notes, the pros and cons of every method to make money online. What ways do you think will work for you?
You said click bank is hard; well that's affiliate marketing - now you need to ask yourself why it was hard, and see if there ways around that/coaches that can perhaps guide you in the right direction.
Point is, research all the methods first and see what ones you like.

2. When you've seen the methods, cross off all the ones you definitely do not want to try out (for whatever reason).

3. Pick the one you want to attempt.

4. This is th most important part - STICK TO THAT ONE METHOD. Do not try hop around trying out loads of different systems at the same time, just because one way isn't working. The reason it's not working is most likely because you're doing something incorrectly, and it's up to you to battle that hurdle, ask questions on forums like this to understand how you can overcome challenges. Please do not give up on a system just because it hasn't made you money after a month.

5. This is a real business - you must understand that. Don't approach it like it's some kind of hobby. If you want to make serious cash, and a sustainable online business, treat this like that! You wouldn't go fork out $50,000 on a commercial property if you didn't know what your going to put inside right? So you need to use your common sense, and business intuitive to make good decisions, and remember to take action! Once again, if you invested $50,000 on a commercial business, I'm sure you wouldn't just sit and think what to do next - you would actually do it, right?
One big problem in this business is procrastination. The reason that happens, is because you have to do a lot of churn work initially to get momentum in this business. If you do not work your ass off to start with, it will never get easier.

6. Work smart, and work hard. Do not waste energy and time looking for the new shiny product. Just practice the one method you are trying, and make it successful before changing your mind.

7. Don't give up. It's an uphill battle.

First of all, welcome to the forums. I do agree that Clickbank was very hard, and it's quite challenging for us to make money with them. To tell you the truth, it took me more than two years until I have finally met the Customer Distribution Requirement and got my first check a few months ago. I was not really focused to do some Clickbank stuff on that time due to my busy job.

When I got my first check and processed it to my bank, I was joyful that Clickbank is for real! If I were you to start things off, I would really recommend that you should look around in this forum to learn something about internet marketing. You need to have an attractive review website or landing page..or even squeeze page to build your own list and promote Clickbank products there.

Product reviews are pretty much converting very well than general articles only. Once you have written a product review about a Clickbank product from your own website or blog, promote it to various traffic sources like Facebook, Youtube, article directory sites, press releases and a lot more.

I think you start off writing Clickbank product reviews for your own blog or website. Cheers!

Hi There, Internet marketing is not really easy especially if your first time. You need to invest a lot of time in learning a lot of marketing strategies and techniques and somewhat may also cost you money, however, if you're on the right track, it's all worth it. If you are for pay per sale, try Amazon and eBay, their products are more practical and trustworthy for people. For cost per click (CPC), try Commission Junction, Linkshare,and Google Adsense.

I think offering services is a great place to start while you learn more about IM. If you are willing to work you can generate income very quickly. It's where I started.
