How should i go about setting up an affiliate based site

Hi guys,

I am looking to expand into other areas of Internet marketing, primarily affiliate marketing.

I am looking to set up a site based around a specific product, promoting the product with an affiliate link etc. Im sure you guys know what i'm getting at.

Anyway, since this is a new area of marketing for me, i am looking for some tips on how to get started and progress. If you have similar sites of your own that are doing well, i would love to take a quick look at them to get an idea of what i need to do.

Also any websites which provide good information around this area of marketing would be great!

    Targeting an individual product is great until its out of stock or out of production. When that happens, your site becomes useless. Target a broader niche and promote stuff that others aren't. Your site will always be relevant and there will be no shortage of products to promote.
