Site valuation: Rule of thumb

Hey Guys, I was just wondering what the rule of thumb is regarding working out the rough valuation of your site. Now I know there are many things to consider but just a rough guide to work with would be great.

    Yeah you haven't given us a lot to work with here. And you know the answer you're going to get... "it's all relative".

    Here is one rule of thumb I read all the time:

    Valuation= [Monthly Income] x10

    This is used for adsense sites and such.

    A few years back offers were being made to buy twitter. They were in the 100s of millions of dollars. At the time twitter had not been monetized.

    Give more details about your site and you will get a more accurate answer.
