Clickbank and gravity

What is a good gravity score? I'm looking for a new product to sell to truckers. I have around 300 targeted visits per day but no sales.

I've tried to sale C.B radio, Trucker tools, freight broker training, trucker insurance and still no sale. I've had several people use my Amazon link to buy Charcoal, and the new book about killing bin laden but nothing in the trucking niche is making me any sales. Any advice is always appreciated warriors thanks again for all the help.

Gravity has nothing to do with the success of a product. High gravity means there are too many people promoting that product without knowing how many sales they are making...

I have had success in promoting low gravity products with less competition than promoting high gravity products.

That pigeon training product there has a very low gravity but I am making more sales of that product than any weight loss product with high gravity...

Are you sure they're targeted? I'm guessing there's poor market research involved, you're miscalculating how many visitors that come to the site or they're in fact, not targeted.

I know your conversion rate will vary depending upon a lot of things but 300 targeted visitors a day should bringing you at least a couple sales.

The quality of the sales page/product and how targeted your traffic is, is much more important than the gravity of a product.

Gravity on ClickBank is just like real gravity: it is perceived as an all powerful force, but when you act against it you realize it was pretty weak all along .

I have seen those preach for a high gravity "because it's converting"

I have seen those preach for a low gravity "because there is less competition"

If you can find a different market for a high converting offer it will work. - more challenging

If you want to market to the product creators initial market then a low gravity will work. - easier

I guess the answer depends on whether you are a marketeer or an advertiser.

76% click my page "Highest truck driver salary" So I know they are truckers. Also most are from google search organic for trucker keywords. My problem is I have to figure out what truckers will buy online, and it's not C.B Radios. I also have interaction with a lot of them on twitter, facebook, pinterest, etc etc I have 12000+ twitter followers mostly truckers.

Without even looking at your site (I have before when you asked; but it's been a while) I've already found your problem:

You're targeting: Highest truck driver salary. These people are either looking for a job as a trucker, or looking for a raise for the job they're already doing. The keyword is about money.

You're offering: CB Radios. Is this making them more money? Will this land them the "highest truck driver salary"? If not, you're either 1. Working with the wrong offers or 2. Targeting the wrong keywords.

    1. Working with the wrong offers . These people want trucker jobs. So maybe I will do some recruiting for trucking companies. Thanks

There ya go. I see commercials (and plenty of classifieds in the campus newspapers) for truck driving schools as well. I'd start contacting them offline and working out a deal where you get a commission for each student that you bring in. It'll work with the keywords you are already targeting too, as truckers who don't have to trains start off at a higher salary (or so I've heard).

This is the way you need to think (and not just you, marketers in general). Your opportunities are not limited to projects that are on Clickbank and Amazon. Create your own affiliate opportunities. They're out there if you go after them.

Try using buyer keywords. A buyer keyword is basically a word that somebody who is looking to buy something types into a search engine. Do some research. Looking at which words other people in your niche are using.

        Cheers,

        Mike

From the experience of a former truck driver, I'm going to tell you the one thing that nobody who hasn't been a truck driver can. Truckers don't have the money to buy things. Let's look at the numbers here. A new truck driver is doing good to make 32 cents per mile and get 1500 miles a week. This comes out to $480 a week gross. Take out 18% in taxes and you're down to about $345. Out of this $345.00 a week, they have to pay for food, showers, toiletries, and laundry. Now we're down to about $200 a week if they're lucky. And that $200 a week is needed to keep the lights on at home.

While an experienced truck driver has learned the ropes and gotten the experience that enables them to make more money, they've also learned how to not spend money. The best way to sell to truck drivers is to put shiny new gadgets directly in front of them so that when they buy it they can take it with them.

I'm not saying that truck drivers can't be a valid target for marketing, but I'm of the firm belief that they're not going to be an easy market to crack. They're skeptical by nature, and as I said before, disposable income isn't really a resource that they have.
