How in God's name do they know the gender/income level/ages etc.. of Google users? Do Google fairies go around placing tiny cameras in people's homes and offices when people are asleep so they can spy on everyone that goes to Google?

Yeah, tell me about it! HECK, even sites that ask my age don't generally know my REAL age! MOST think I am a few years older. I am obscure about such things to limit "identity theft"! And it is impossible to tell which sites people visit(even if you watched over their shoulder, and saw them type in the URL)! I mean some sites/software drive you to sites you may NEVER go to, and sometimes a minor misstype, etc... could land you on a TOTALLY different site! One site that USED to be popular, and normal family safe retail, had a domain name where, if ONE LETTER was missed, it would go to a rauncy porn site!

In all honesty, Google DOES try to get a picture of everyone. They keep a record of where you visit, searches you do, what email you get(if you have gmail), etc... They like to THINK they can guess things based on that. Even THAT isn't 100% though.

But I digress, they have no such ability.

As for the 52% female ranking? About 51-52% of the world is female, so that isn't significant anyway.
