Make Money Online

Everyone seems to be promoting their own product to make $100 a day online. Do these methods actually work? Or is it better to start building a good website, reviewing a product, and then promoting an affiliate link.


My idea is to create niche review sites and promoting amazon products. This is great until I get people telling me it will be too hard to rank or that it isn't the best way.

What is the best way you found of making a good income ($100 plus more a day) online?

Any good methods out there that have been working? I've been searching through the forum and wso's for ideas.

    Instead of searching for ideas, you need to find a proven model... one that works consistently. The idea you already propose is proven and works well. It may not make you $100 a day right from the start, but it is scalable -- which is one of the keys to increasing income.

    As far as it it maybe being "too hard to rank or that it isn't the best way"... that may or may not be true. You won't know for sure until you jump in. Let the naysayers nay while you keep on truckin forward

      The best way to earn a good long-term income online is to first find a profitable niche that you are interested in, then create a website with a squeeze page. After you have done this, then you need to focus on providing VALUE to your potential subscribers to your site.

      You need to either find an affiliate product to promote or develop your own product and direct your subscribers to the product.

      Keep in mind, VALUE is key. You must provide something people are looking for (education, information, etc.).

    There are a lot of bright shiny objects out there, and a lot of victims.

    Don't get me wrong, I've purchased like 20+ wsos probably in my time here, but I make wise use of them.

    Some people aren't so fortunate, and are easily distracted.

    My friend once told me that I have 'reverse add' - I think that's what people need in order to combat BSO. (Bright shiny object syndrome).

    Legal question. Are you allowed to use brand names in your domain. Like if I had a site that reviewed tempurpedic mattresses, could I have. Tempurpedicmattressreview. . Com?

    Hey JTommy,

    Well the first key is traffic. If you can get traffic, you can make money online.

    The next thing is to advertise to that traffic, either with your own products or affiliate products like you're planning on doing.

    There's so many different ways to do these two steps, that's where people can really get confused.

    If you're willing to hustle, having a blog get ranked on Google, getting views on YouTube or using other social media sites like Twitter or Facebook seem to be great paths right now. Try them all out, hustle, adjust, and see what works!

      Do your due diligence. In my opinion, most of those affiliate programs are just waste of time. Granted, there are few that will make you money but you will lucky to make serious money. I do believe if you find a product or service you can create that is in demand, you will be better off. The question now is, what products or services are in demand? Well there is where the due diligence comes in.

    So here are my options.

    1. Create review websites using clickbank and amazon products.

    2. Creating how to websites in certain niches and then promoting clickbank products.

    3. Buying and selling domains.

    4. Creating local websites (directories) for small towns with little online presence and then selling ad space on the site to local business owners.

    5. Creating the next big social networking site (probably should do this one as a hobby).

    Which idea do you like best?

    You can do many things online but the hard part is to get traffic to your pages. Since you are a beginner, you have to promote affiliate products and create your own products only after learning very well how the internet works.

    Don’t spend your money before learning internet marketing very well and being able to create a smart business plan. If you’ll try this and then try that, you won't get anywhere.

    You have to know which steps you must follow to sell your products. You won't sell your products by chance, especially because of the fierce competition you find in all fields. Beating the competition is the worst obstacle you’ll find.

    You need targeted traffic; in other words, people who are interested in your products and have money. If you’ll attract curios people who merely care about free information, you won't make a cent.

    Your success depends on knowing which marketing strategies you should implement, which products you should promote, and to what kind of audience you have to promote your products.

    Internet marketing is quite complicated. Before doing whatever, you have to study. Read many posts in this forum. This forum is the best internet marketing school you can find. Wish I had found it in the beginning of my adventures online.

    I spent a lot of money and I made many mistakes because I was ignorant but too audacious. You should be smart and learn everything you can before burning your money without knowing what you are doing.

    I agree with some of previous posts. Find yourself a niche, get writing and start doing SEO. when you get visitors to your site, start finding out what works, e.g. adsense, affiliates or even your own products if you have any (always easy to make an ebook) and scale it up.
