Online Freelance Sites (Graphic Design)

I am seeking a graphics designer to design a cover picture for my e-book novel. I plan to spend between 40 - 50 US for the project, through a freelance bidding site (that's my stated budget for that part of the e-book process). I've decided not to bother with 99Designs, because their bid limits are well outside of my budget . I've notice that many of the bidding sites that were once reasonable options such as Elance and Scriptlance, are almost non-options for persons with bidding budgets under 150 US !
I fully realize the online freelance platforms are constantly evolving. Are there any other bidding sites out there with competent graphic designers willing to complete small projects for 50USD and below?

why don't you just get the work done, here, on the WF?

    Warriors For Hire

I bet you could find an excellent designer for your eBook cover that fits your budget. Take a look, read the reviews, and get your cover done!

You should still be able to get your ebook cover designed on elance for around $30.

Here are some other great sites you should consider...

    Freelancer.com
    Odesk.com
    Fiverr.com

Fiverr is a great site for ebook covers because you can get professional work done for a very small fraction of the price you would pay anywhere else.

Try these fiverr gigs below. They have a track of great feedback and are some of the top sellers on fiverr.com.

Other than warrior for hire section, why not check out elance or odesk? I got a logo design for exactly $40 on elance. I would say it's top notch.

I Hired a Pakistan guy. Both of us are happy with the price

I get a lot of design work done on oDesk and I have gotten good results. One problem - be prepared to fire 3/4 or the people you hire as they won't work out!

Over time, I find the gems and send them my work.

Fiverr can also work. You could purchase from 3-4 different people and choose the best one and still be under budget.

Fiver is pretty good.......as above, hire 2 or 3 people and get a few choices. Another alternative is digital point contest section. I have had some great results paying 20 bucks for winner and had over 10 entries to pick from!

    Hi Wizman888

Have you tried posting it on oDesk and Freelancer so that interested freelancers can bid on it? You could also look for interested freelancers on social media. However, you should be careful in choosing the freelancers you’re going to hire. You must screen them first in order to determine their potential to do work.

You could also check this list of competent and affordable graphic designers that you could hire.
