Putting Google Maps on a website

INTERNET MARKETING

I'd like to add Google Maps on my website so customers could find me on the map, along with landmarks, stops and stations closest to us.

Nothing too complicated.

Do you know of a good WordPress plug-in for that? Or perhaps there's a better way to do it?

Good luck, I tried finding the same thing awhile ago. Didn't have much luck finding anything decent..

How about just embedding it? After you input your location on the map, click the link icon located at the left by the print icon, and when you click a box opens and you'll see the embed code. You can customize the code a little.

No need to plugin for that.
Go to Google maps, put your address and then get the embedd code by clicking on chain icon .

Amm!!! As long as I know, you can embed Google Maps manually anywhere in WordPress even on a post or page.

Google Docs Spreadsheet has neat little tools called Gadgets. You can select a data range and have a gadget created from that data. One interesting one is Maps. If you have data in a sheet that can be recognised as place names, Google will use that data and map it directly in Google Maps.

So if you have a cell containing a city name and another cell containing a country name, that location can be placed on a map. This page contains a map below that has locations of people who responded to a Twitter poll. Respondents filled in a 3 question Google form telling me their name and location (city/country) and then this data was automatically turned into

You can actually get the user address (either by IP or the one provided by the browser) and use that to showcase a road between him and your physical address. It can be done via Google Maps Api.

You can post a job and have a programmer do it for you for $30-$40.
