Hi

I woke up this morning an realize a lot of sites has start to
steal my graphics, videos, and complete webpage text. And
I started to contact the sites, but gave up. It will copycat
like wildfire.

I worked last 48 hours on my site http://www.mymusicticket.se
And now they all steal it. The youtube fine.. that is giving me
more backlinks. But graphics and text is just taken right off.

I can share things with people. But hey I do not work 20
hours to get things taken from my site. I have red eyes
like a drunk rabbit (The IM Look) lol and this is just sicking
me.

What would you do?

As you said, it will spread like wildfire. You can't stop it. Now ask yourself: are they really hurting your sales? Probably no. Unless they steal your info products such as ebooks, audiobooks... Just let it go. Or hire a fulltime assistant to go after them. Cos it will eat up all your time.

      Hi

Yes I have contact the owner, the host and so on. What
hurts most is not the material. But the time and no sleep
put into it. Yeh you all know what it takes.

As soon as you show up in google you get these thefts
from people who think life should be simple. Oh will I will
do some edit of graphics then.

just rename your graphics, but keep the original ones up there, and edit the original image to say something like

"this arse hole stole my graphics, don't buy from him/her"

        works for me

great advice - and in future, put your domain name on your graphics in such a way that it's hard to remove.

              Hi

Yes I had that but not as clear URL. Changed that now.
I use copyscape now to track content. At least is worth
to notify the domain owners to remove it and let them
              know they are being seen.

There's a simple solution if they are hot linking to
the images on your site and "stealing" bandwidth:
    Hot Link Alarm

      Hi

Yes, I guess as the copy won't give any advantage on google etc.
I can see someone take some text as they do not know better. But
when you go to their site and they promote hundred of things and
brag about they been in business for 15 years... well they can't
have missed not to copy others work ;-)

      Thanks for all your inputs.
