Justin Timberlake is betting on the comeback
of myspace. Are you in?

I predict in 5 years, Madonna will be in
a video extolling the virtues of a
facebook comeback.

Myspace never really went away, just off the
radar.

Myspace has something almost completely missing from facebook.

Content.

It will survive many of the interlopers of the current day.

What's MySpace? lol. Justin Timberlake dumped a bunch of investment money into MySpace. I'm betting he doesn't get much ROI.

As soon as a stigma is attached to you online you are dead:

AOL = beginner/newbs
MySpace = tacky
Facebook = your mom and your grandma hang out

All these are dead in the water

  The demo looks amazing. Myspace realised a while ago that their main users were musicians and music lovers. It looks like they are taking this to the next level with that niche (and other artists) in mind. It looks like a winner to me!

I knew what you where talking about once I saw the headline, there has been quite a buzz about the 'new' myspace on tech blogs.

I have put my name on the notification list. It will be hard for MS to get over their animated gif background stigma, but I am certainly not going to discount them completely until I see the end results.
