New to the forums I just want to say Hi!

Hey guys I'm pretty new to these forums i have dabbled into the internet marketing a little bit in the past but am fully going for it now.

I'm 21 years old, have a lot of spare time on my hands and for a long time now I've felt that working from home and for myself is the only way i can be happy working long hours and I find it motivating that the earning potential is unlimited.

Im starting out by following the Cloudblueprint by Glen Allsopp which is just email blogging, i'm doing it in the weight loss niche and while I understand that it is very saturated and probably not good for a beginner i'm quite passionate about it and can actually write and answers peoples questions so i'm going to run with it!

My goal is to get 100 subscribers by November 15th which I think is very realistic. I have created my freebie and squeeze page I used optimize press, I have my aweber all set up i'm also using Cloudflood which is also created by Glen Allsopp and its a free program which allows you to give out a freebie in return they have to share your website on twitter or facebook.

You can probably tell i'm a bit of a Glen Allsopp fan but thats only because he is the only person i have actually found on the web who is giving amazing advice and guides for free. You can find him at Viperchill.com

Anyway back to me i'm trying to think of ways to get these subscribers and I hear solo ads can be good although i'm not really comfortable in figuring out if i'm getting real clicks or not, can anyone help me with that?

I thought about flyer dropping in peoples letterbox because well why not its free and all the paper and ink is paid for by my fathers work. It will be offering "Free weight loss product" all they need to do is go to my website (squeeze) to get it. Not many people receive free stuff in there letterbox where as it is offered all the time on the internet so who knows i might get some subs from it.

I'm not too afraid of spending money on IM because i know this is what im going to be doing for the rest of my life (unless an unbelievable opportunity comes up)

The way i see it if i go to University i want to be a psychologist and that can take up to 8 - 10 years $80,000++

If i spend 8 - 10 years and a whole lot less cash i will probably be making more money, have more free time and be able to work anywhere in the world from a laptop.

When people go to University or college they wouldn't hesitate to buy a book they need for the course for $100 yet when it comes to internet marketing people are too scared to spend anything until they make money, seems kinda ridiculous.
