Traffic for new advertising website

Hello All,
I have just launched a new website and was wondering if anyone has had any really good results in getting good traffic to their website in the early stages, the problem i have is my site is not a blog or content driven website so picking up traffic from posts is not really an option.

Any suggestions will be most welcome

Depending on what your offering might help you determine what form of traffic you would like to go after. For example is your site visual or women related? You might try creating some boards on Pinterest, following and repinning images. This will bring activity to your board and your site.

You could also do videos, look for keywords that are easily ranked in Google and create videos around those words.

When I build new niche sites for client I always suggest Youtube first then give them the steps they need to take.

Depending on your budget adwords or display ads might be a good way to start also.
