This will be the "optimum" idea?

I'm new at this, and for what I investigate, to build up a great business requiers hard-work, failing and time to start getting the big results.

So I want to ask the people who knows much more than I do about this,

I was thinking of, building a website and start making courses on how to make drinks, like bartender, have a nice graphic desing for the web and well all the web traffic etc. But that is the thing to do , right? or I'm missing something?

Thxs,

As long as you can handle the content and competitive promotion, failing is out of discussion.

    Thxs,
If you're good or can pay someone who is good to build the site it sounds good.

Only thing I wouldn't recommend is something you just did. Never ever give business people your entire idea, they will probably have it up and running before you do.

    • Hi, try to jot down your bartending cocktail ideas, so that the main concepts could be re-arranged and expanded. Try to reach at least 30 pages. Work until you are happy about your results!

When you have your doc ready, start searching some basic and free courses on how to modify and upload HTML templates, then order a minisite from "Warriors for Hire" section, that is now under "Warrior Special Offers". Tell the designer how do you want the website, try to write a good sales letter and you have the website ready.

Just assemble the things, creating a download page and a thank you page with signup form, and things will be ready fast!

If all this seems hard, you can always find a good freelancer that takes care of everything for you, in exchange of a price you can decide before. There are some good networks around, and for example I use Freelancer.com.

      See you soon,

    That's a great idea!
But, has I always say study you market and really write for them. Give great content and the money will come eventually.

P.S: I totally agree with Walter. Don't give away all the idea, because you want to be the first doing that.

Before you invest the time and money creating the website and courses, I'd suggest you do research to make sure there's a market first.

Is there enough demand for the business? If you just enjoy teaching others to bartend, then that's great, set up the site; but if you're trying to make money from the courses - see if there's a demand (you may want to look for online and offline clients - perhaps offer the course to local restaurants/bars/college kids to get started).

    Thxs,
If you have done your market research and see a market that pays for this, then go right ahead and make it happen. Check out your competition and see what their offer(s) are and how their site looks.

I seen Iphone apps that give recipes, for drinks and cocktails.

I think it would work well, just make sure not to spend too much time testing out your products .
