    It's a good tool, you'll have access to more detailed analysis of your website and ranking positions, find errors that maybe affecting your website and other performance related features.

    Google analytics is more of a ‘performance analyser’. Google webmaster tools, on the flip side, lets webmasters make their site Google friendly by offering them a set of free tools
    Here’s a small list of things that Google Webmasters lets you do but Google Analytics doesn’t:
    - It allows you to submit an XML sitemap
    - It allows you to set a geographic target
    - It lets you generate/ analyse robots.txt
    - It lets you set a preferred domain
    - It lets you locate any crawling errors

      I have been using Google Webmaster and I find it a very useful look up tool. The post above by Cybord explains the reasons the tool is useful. It helps you get Google Search Engine's prespective on your website.

    Google analytics is priceless in terms of analysing trends and where you traffic actually comes from which is important to know if you want to expand your website further...

    Have not used any of their other tools yet, but I can imagine they are just as good - if not better.

      agreed ... my favorite part of webmaster tools is checking what "google thinks" my top keywords are on my site, always interesting to me
