Are you outsourcing article writing for your sites?

I've never outsourced much in the past but am now
beginning to!



When outsourcing article writing for a new site, would you:


a.) Order 50 articles for your 50 keywords
(1 article per keyword) and submit them all to
eZineArticles.com over time?

OR

b.) Order 50 articles for the 50 keywords and
submit them to eZineArticles.com over time AND
ALSO order another 50 different articles again
(for the same 50 keywords) to use for your website?


Do you feel that the price difference between a.)
and b.) would justify the benefit that would
(more than likely) result (granted the campaign
is properly targeted)?

    My answer would be to order 50 articles per keyword and submit them on your blog first before you submit them to any article directories. The reason for this is simple you want the original content on your site so that your site gets indexed even if the same article shows up again anywhere else on the web.

    I would then submit 50 of the same articles to the article directories such as Ezinearticles, Buzzle Idealmarketers etc, only I would re-write them so they were 30% altered.

    Hope this makes sense...

    • After you have post the content in your blog, you will be having some issue when submitting that same articles to ezinearticles

    Actually I order 20 articles and then 2 rewrites of each. Post 20 to my site, 20 to Ezinearticles and split the 3rd set of 20 up between isnare, buzzle, website-articles.net, squidoo, hubpages etc...

    I don't post the same ones on my site that I do on article directories anymore because I figure no one wants to read an article on eza and then click through to my site and read basically the same article.

    It works great for me!

    • I agree with a lot of the above:

      1) EzineArticles does not want what you've published elsewhere, so don't go down that road.

      2) Mix and match - -do a variety of marketing; don't put all eggs in one cyber-basket

  • e-zine articles is getting really picky these days. They will not accept your articles if they can see them posted somewhere on the different site. you really have to be careful about them. I would say, get some more original articles, and then get two sets of rewrites for these articles. Submit the best ones to your blog, the second-best ones to e-zine articles and then the third set you should submit to all the other directories for additional traffic. I hope this helps.

    • If you re-use articles posted on ezinearticles make sure there is no linking between your site or the ezinearticle. Put them on a feeder site or use them for Squidoo or blogger etc.

  • It is always better to have unique articles both on the articles for your blog and EZA, but nevertheless, just give it a little twist so it would not be exactly the way it is.
  • Here's a very powerful approach...

    1. Get 100 articles written for 50 keywords
    2. Make sure every keyword has a "part 1" and "part 2" - so essentially you're getting 50 long (double sized) articles
    3. Post the the long articles (part 1&2 together as one) on your website
    4. Post all the "part 1s" at EZA with your bio saying something like...

    This is part one of xyz topic, click here to read the rest
    or
    This is an excerpt of xyz, click here to read the entire thing for free online

    Click throughs go through the roof from EZA, and the spiders love the detailed, keyword rich content on your site.

    (Edit) forgot to specify: The bio link in each part 1 article should link to the specific matching longer version on your site.

      The reason I'm considering having another batch of
      different versions of the articles on my site is simply
      because I may then get some extra traffic from some
      other LT keywords since the content would be slightly
      different (yet still theme related to the niche).

      I'm almost certain that if I post the 50 articles to
      eZineArticles.com first and then to my website that's
      fine and dandy but I'm thinking the 50
      original articles posted at eZineArticles.com would
      rank for the same exact things anyway since it
      would be the same articles as my website.
      Then again, maybe it would be good since I would then
      take up another position in the SERP for that particular
      keyword (eZineArticles.com article and My Website's
      article both would come up in the SERP close together for
      that term).

      But if I do indeed just use the same articles
      for my site I would think the articles I submit to
      eZineArticles.com would rank better than my site's
      articles would anyway, though. Initially, anyway.
  • Don't get fooled into thinking Ezinearticles won't accept your article if you post it onto your website first. Read the editorial guidelines carefully - the only requirement is that you have exclusive rights to the article. In fact, I sent them an e-mail recently asking them to clarify this exact issue, and this was their response:

    "Hi Jonathon,

    You are permitted to use your articles as you wish, as you retain
    full rights over your submissions to EzineArticles.com.


    We do ask that you include your author name with any articles posted
    elsewhere, as your author name is how we verify your exclusive rights
    to your submissions.

    What this means is I just have my blog theme automatically post my exact name at the end of each post (the same name as is registered at ezinearticles.com), and I haven't had a problem yet. 10 articles submitted at midnight last night, 10 articles live at 8am this morning. Life is good .

    • I agree, they don't have a problem if you post the articles on your site first, as long as your name on the website matches the name you submitted the articles under to EZA. I've done this plenty of times. The only time I ever had a problem was when I posted a similar article on another one of my websites which had a different name attached. Got my account suspended tell I explained myself and then all was well after that. Lesson= learned.

      ...but my speculation still stands...

      While your points are 100% valid and appreciable,
      my goal is to weigh the pros/cons to the different
      possibilities of approaching this since there are SO many
      different ways to Internet Marketing (moreover,
      being an entrepreneur in general) and so many
      different ways of doing things.

      And while I realize there is no "golden key" to it all,
      I believe some keys may open the gate wider
      than others.

      Perhaps I'm at fault for not being clear enough
      with what I would like to achieve w/ this thread
      here at The Warrior Forum today...

      a.) Using The Same 50 Articles On eZineArticles.com And My Site

      Potential PROS: Multiple listings in SERP for
      same keyphrase equaling more dominance in that
      there would be more potential click-thrus for
      keyphrase (This is only if Website's article was
      deemed as 'just as important' as eZineArticles.com's
      article and they were both sitting in good SERP positions).

      b.) Using 50 Articles on eZineArticles.com And 50 Re-Written Articles On My Site (Same Keywords w/ Re-Written Articles)

      Potential PROS: More targeted traffic than
      option "a.)" in that there will be LSI variations in
      the re-written articles in addition to the "originals",
      thus "pulling in" a more variant amount of keyword
      phrase traffic to the website overall.

      Do not misunderstand me here. I'm not worried about
      duplicate content. I'm not scared of it. This thread isn't
      directly about the negative allegations that have been
      made towards duplicate content. I've posted on other
      threads here at The Warrior Forum about duplicate
      content quite a bit and have no intention of starting
      duplicate content debates here.
  • I do VA work for an online Membergate site. I post articles all the time for the owner and then submit them to EZA. We've never had a problem getting them accepted.
