Hi,

What program do you use that will check your server status at regular intervals and sends you an email if the server goes down?

If you are spending $100's / day on PPC it is useful to know when the page you are sending that traffic to is unavailable

That's the point Dave, you don't need to check it - it alerts you by email or SMS if your site is unavailable.

That is the cool thing about watchman pro. It runs on minimal system resources and remains on your toolbar inconspicuous and out of the way. The only time it interrupts your activities is if there is a problem.

It can also be a useful tool for finding out when your competitors make any changes worth noting as well.

Per your point; if you were doing it manually, I could see spending entirely too much time checking on everything to be capable of remaining productive. If I had to do it that way, I definitely would not bother.

However, when you have a tool that is free or pretty cheap that will do it silently in the background while allowing you to work, who not bother? Minimal cost, simple popup notifications if something is out of whack. Just a handy little tool.

            Just my two cents though,

    Hi,

Thank you for recommending me Watchman Pro.

I'm running a high traffic membership website that can obtain sales anytime during the day.

The server was down for 6 hours without me knowing until I tried accessing the site.

This software is useful in checking server status regulary for me and notify me of errors.
