What membership script have upgrade/downgrade option?

Hello,

Does anybody know some membership script that has option to upgrade or downgrade member plan ?
For example there are 3 monthly plans $10, $20 and $30
If member is at plan 1 and in the middle of month decide to upgrade on plan 2, script should calculate difference in price and charge only that amount for that period and then continue with next level price.

I already searched for this feature on top membership scripts like amember and others, but couldn't find any.

Can anybody help please.

    I use Kajabi and Wishlist Member for my membership sites and to be honest I'm not sure either can do what you ask

    but maybe it's better to not do it automatically as you're in less control of your membership site

    You could always do it the old fashioned way and let your customer make contact with you personally.

    If it was a customer on my site I would do the following:

    If someone wanted to upgrade part way through a month I would let them have the remaining days of that month for free...they'll be really happy and love me just that little bit more than they did previously...which means they're more likely to stick around a bit longer at the higher rate.

    If someone wanted to downgrade part way through a month I would tell them 'no problem' but ask them why they wanted to... I could then try to overcome any objections they have to the membership level they are currently on and then try and sweeten the deal to keep them. If they didn't want to stay I would offer to let them stay on that level for a couple of months but charge them the lower rate....another customer focused gesture

    For me it's always about customer retention...it's a lot harder to get a new customer than it is to keep an existing one.

      Did you check easymemberpro? I believe you can create multiple levels for your future members...

        Its not so much the membership script as the payment processor. For example, if you are using paypal- then if the user upgrades to another level (product) paypal doesnt know that they upgraded. So you need to go in and cancel the old subscription after theyve subscribed to the new one.

        If you use other payment systems, like authorize, where you have control over the payments then you can do upgrades/downgrades.

    I have a feeling that WP Fastmember can do this. Certainly the upgrades.

    Anyway, as a membership system goes it is pretty awesome and feature rich.

    I'm sure one of the guys will come on here and confirm.
