I'm going to use my sites losing their Google rankings in a positive way, what about you?
To date I have earned several thousand dollars doing local SEO for small businesses but I have only two clients left since I have made a shift from that vertical to doing CPA marketing as an affiliate so my loss of rankings isn't that big of an upset to me.
This change of my sites rankings has forced me to become more focused on PPC. I started my first PPC campaign through 7search late Jan. early Feb. of this year in which I learned how to write effective ads, do keyword research, and pick profitable niches without depleting my bank account.
7search has been a testing ground for me and I have gained confidence enough to go at it full speed. I will be reinvesting the money I have made from local SEO and what I have made from my current PPC campaign and start adding more niches to my portfolio.
I can say that 7search traffic does convert but you really have to do a lot of keyword research to find keywords that are long tail and have decent search volume with low to medium competition.
I know a lot of people have tried 7search and have not made any money but burned up a few dollars. I don't pick 100's of keywords, slap up an ad , and hope for the best. My current campaign is running well on less than 5 keywords.
37% of the visitors I get from 7search click through to my offer and 50% of those 37% convert. The only problem I have is that the volume isn't there but this is why I'm going to have multiple campaigns going so collectively the money will add up.
If you are wondering why I don't use Adwords or Adcenter to scale up. Well, the answer is because most of the keywords cpc is more than what I get paid for the offer.
It's kind of a relief not to have to work weeks and months to rank a site and then wake up and realize all the hard work was in vain. With PPC, as long as my Advertisers and my visitors are happy, I can care less what anyone else thinks. I can start seeing traffic within minutes to hours with PPC verses working my tail off for weeks/months and hoping for the best with traditional SEO.
If anyone has any questions about using 7search be sure to ask. I don't consider myself an expert yet but I am profitable and paid traffic is going to be my primary income generator.
