Looking to start my first online business venture

You need to be more specific about what you are wanting to learn.

There are many different ways of building a business online.

If you give us an idea of what areas you are interested in, we may be able to point you in the right direction.

There are plenty of ways to make money online. If you want to go into Internet marketing, you have to be specific about what you will be marketing. Is it a website? A product? That will determine what you need to learn.

You can also consider affiliate marketing.

I always recommend the same coaches whom I met before and they are all successful online marketers. They include Jaz Lai, Peng Joon and Derek Gehl. Especially Derek Gehl, he's the most experienced among the three.

Before you go out and spend a fortune on coaches and courses, take some time to browse around the different forums. It will be overwhelming to start off with but just let it all sink in over a few weeks.

Then get yourself a WarRoom membership for $37 and spend the next two weeks in there. The wealth of information in there is priceless.

Once you have an idea of what is possible, you will find that something grabs your attention and you think "I could do this". Then make a list of what you have to learn to get it done and learn and apply each "To-Do" on your list until you feel comfortable.

Then apply it. It does not have to be perfect. You just need to get it done. Then you check your results. What do you need to do differently to tweak it?

You will never stop learning.

Please don't expect to make $1000 in your first month. You need to approach it like a business. Be committed and pay your 'school fees'. If you have the guts to stick it out and get it done, you will succeed.

Warrior forum is definitely a great place to start. Most people start off by offering services to more established marketers such as copywriting or design.

You could check out the link in my signature if you'd like. It will be released sometime this week, but may be a little advanced for an extreme beginner.

That is a very broad topic and you probably will get many great opinions on this forum so I have created a quick checklist to help you get started:

1. First and foremost make sure this is something you want to do, having your own business and being an entrepreneur is not an easy as you might it is.

2. Whatever your core business will be SEM, SEO, WSO etc...make sure it's your passion, something you love to do on a daily basis even for free rather than just focus on making money otherwise it won't last long.

3. Whatever the product you want to offer, make sure to analyze your competitors as well as the industry as a whole. Figure out your unique selling point, what make you stand out than others that the customers will spend money with you.

4. Networking, be social and active in the industry, get your name out there build your trust and credibilities which will comes handy when launching your product.

5. Capital is important for any business start up, have enough capital to invest into the right product is critical.


You may get different great opinions and some may or may not agree me, but hope this helps, good luck.

Well, you have to understand that internet marketing is a broad one that involves different categories to choose from. So you have to be specific about which one you want.

You forgot to specify what you want to learn. Internet marketing has lots of little sub-niches. You can only get to learn about it if you will take the time to read and surf the forums. Though some people make big promises while charging a good $500 for coaching. I suggest that you stick to testing things out for yourself before you splurge on a coach.

You should learn some basics first and figure out what you want to get into. Plenty of material on this forum to get you going. Just use the forum search function.

Whatever you do take a look at list building first!

The best advice I ever received was that it takes work to make money online anyway; so you may as well invest it into building a list of subscribers.

This way you get to keep a huge list of people on your email list and are able to build relationships with them, market to them and treat them as though they were your own family.

By looking out for them and building an amazing relationship with them; you can do so many things with that list it almost becomes impossible for you to have a reason not to make a fantastic full time living online.

Look around at this very forum and you will discover that all you need to succeed is right in front of your eyes!

Well i`ve been looking at a lot of things can`t really decide i can`t know if its going to be profitable.
But the one that really caught my eye was an onlineshop that sell herbs and natural treatments but there is a bit of competition i don`t know how i am going to rank good in google ranks (im talking about organic search).

The real money i think is getting banners on youre site 1$ per click and get a lot of traffic how to get a lot of traffic would be what i would really like to know.

Remember - you must create a BUSINESS which simply means putting something that people want and that helps them fulfill a desire, want or need in their life...focus on that rather than how to make money with IM. Create a solid business and then you can market THAT business online, those are the people that really make it big.
