You should probably learn more and do less until you're sure of what you have to do, or atleast have a rough outline containing your ideas and goals.

Well, if you have spent money on courses but think they don't work, how on earth are you expecting to get better advice from a simple little thread on a forum? Get your finger out, pick one thing that you have learned so far and focus solely on that. Set yourself a 30 day challenge and implement 2 traffic generating strategies to work on every single day.

For all we know you are not doing any work at all. You may be driving traffic to an offer no one is interested in. It's not inspiration you need, it's a willingness to get your s**t together and treat this like a business. That means you focus on one thing at a time and implement it with a dogged attitude and persevere through the hardships, and above all, have bloody patience. Don't look to make money next week. Look to finish one thing every single day that will bring you closer to your end goal. Your end goal could be set for 6 months in to the future. Work out a step by step, day by day, week by week and month by month strategy to how you are going to achieve this. There's plenty of good advice here on this forum. Pick one and set out your plan.

What is your end goal?
Have you got one?
Have you got a plan in place?

There's a high failure rate in this industry for a reason. Most are not willing to put the hard work. Most are not willing to sacrifice in the beginning - they want it all right now. Not going to happen.

Welcome to this forum. Its not about getting accepted by affiliate program. You need to get people buy from your affiliate link. So you need to learn email marketing, blogging, SEO etc

If your wallet is empty, offer some kind of service and make money ASAP. You will need at least few hundred bucks invested in real business (not education, which you already burned your money on). There has to be something you're good at - writing articles, manual link building, logo design...it doesn't have to be something too advanced.

Either that or be prepared for some dedicated, bum-marketing grinding.

I doubt anyone can give you more useful advice considering the limited amount of info you provided.

My advice would be to stick to one or two methods only, work hard for a few months and see if there is any return.

Often when you are new you get excited at every single method and find yourself jumping from one to another and not really taking full advantage of any one method

Just take your time, monitor your competition and read

Rina, I am very sorry to hear that.

Yes a lot of us struggle to stay motivated. I know Dean Holland is an awesome mentor, if you want to look into that.

Otherwise there is a couple of ways you can start generating an income with little to no money. I suggest that when you look into something to generate an income with, finish that income bridge first before moving on to the next.

With little to no cash you can look at making videos and ranking them on YouTube for products from Clickbank and Amazon.

If you do have cash, you can look at getting plugins made by outsourcing it to odesk.com or freelancer.com and selling that. Seeing as you have been working on Wordpress a lot, you can look at what bothers you and try and streamline that problem with a plugin. Then sell that plugin.

Never give up. You will get there. Just concentrate on ONE thing at a time while managing your days so that you get maximum work done each day!

I see you've been at it for 6 months and it took me about 2 years to earn my first penny and now it's become my full time income.

Keep sticking to a method that works for you and learn how to scale it up from there. It can take a lot of time to see what works for you.

Just keep at it and success will come.

Welcome to the forum. It's easy to go in so many different directions that you end up not making any real progress (money). Take your existing 5 WP sites and focus on getting traffic to them. It's hard to give you detailed advice as to what kindof traffic without knowing what niches they are in, but getting your sites ranked high on Google SERPs for low to medium keywords is always a good place to start.

Welcome to the forum. The biggest thing you will want to do is build an email list, and start promoting your items via there. Are you familiar with affiliate marketing? This is maybe where you want to start at if you don't want to learn how to create a product, website, sales copy, and etc.

Invest at least 8-10 hours daily on reading seo related stuff. Improve your knowledge & you'll discover some profitable nich.

Stick with one method and see it through.

It's natural to move on to something else when we don't get the results instantly but all you do by doing that is put yourself back to step one.

Just follow one of the simple methods which you can do, without it costing you a penny.

You can do the review site method, whereby you review products, say from amazon that are in a specific niche. Pick a topic that you already have an interest in and I mean a real interest, this will make it easier for you to put in the work. You're bound to find products in area you love on amazon. Review say 10 of those products and then put them on your site. Then write as many articles as you can relating to that topic, they don't have to be about the product themselves they just have to fit in to one anoter.

For example you could review 10 of the latest BMX's and then you could write scores of articles that are related to BMX such as Pro Bmx rider bio's, how to bunny hop, world records, names of tricks, computer games, great christmas gifts, great birthday gift ideas etc you've then got a tidy amount of articles you can then submit to article directories with a link back to your website. You'll start to see traffic and then click throughs to amazon and then amazon sales as time goes on.

For a moment stop chasing the money (What you persist, resists). Show yourself what works first. Once you get that first sale you'll know what it takes to achieve it.

Save your money too! The latest WSO is worth diddly squat if you can't grasp the core basics. If you want to invest your money however great, use it on things like paying someone to write the articles for you or some facebook likes etc.

Follow the method above and keep at it untill you see a sale. Once you get the sale you can then start adapting what you do to intergrate other sales channels and methods.

Rina - I'm new too, my experience is more in the real world and working with specialists in their field who I expect to perform their tasks and I do mine... Being on my own and needing my own marketing strategy is what brought me here and one thing that seems true in any industry is that you MUST have sticktoitiveness!

Paraphrasing from above and adding my chocolate sprinkles:
-Set a short term goal of one month
--Use one traffic tactic on a quarter of your sites
--Use another tactic on another quarter of your sites
-study the results
-next month repeat on the two unattended quarters of your portfolio
-study and compare all four sets of results
-swap them the third month
-dump the weakest link

There's 3 months of usable data and hopefully you have been working to raise cash in the majority of your time not on the sites to keep food on the table (as suggested above)

its really difficult to concentrate on one thing when you first step into IM as there will be so much of information overload and distractions.

However as warriors said try to take one step at a time and try to focus on one method don't jump from one method to another or from one product to another until you see some result.

i think that the best strategy is to concentrate on one website (niche) and once you have been successful re: your "reasonable goals" then move on to the next niche (domain). Which do you consider to be better. one subscriber on 1000 lists or 1,000 subscribers on one list.Even If you have sufficient funds, i will still say to concentrate on one niche until profitable

Choose only ONE direction, and start implementing all the stuff you've learned. You DONT need MORE information. You need more ACTION and in the right direction. So make a plan, write it down and stick to it untill you get your first penny. Then analyze what went wrong and right, and set a new strategy

Perhaps try to focus on free stuff first. There are tons of useful and helpful blogs and forums that will teach you of the effective ways to establish your business online. And like what others already suggested, it is best to plan and set your goals.
