I can't seem to give Traffic Secrets 2.0 away for $147. Why?

Hey,

I hope you can help.

I've been happily doing my "Tax Return Sale", giving away my best IM
products such as Mass Control 2.0, Mass Control Monthly, PLF 1.0 + PLF 2.0+.

However, nobody wants an original copy of Traffic Secrets 2.0 Home
Study Course (physical product) from John Reese, that includes
free lifetime updates and support and access to the private forum.

The item is still in the box, not even opened.

I'm offering $147 for it, that includes free worldwide shipping.

I paid $397.00 for this.

Two Questions

1. Is that a good offer for this product?

2. Has John Reese lost his "guru" status, and could that be the
reason why nobody wants the offer?

      Yeah Dave, you could be right with that. Also, John tends to look into the IM "guru" circle and not be caught amongst it. He's way of differentiating ;-)

    Maybe it's because the traffic secrets is already kind of old and people are focusing on something different now. you know, Mike Filsame launched his butterfly marketing and Frank Kern is going crazy with his stuff, but you know what, I own the traffic secrets and I think it is definitely worth $147. It's a really good product, even though there might not be very many secrets in there...

    Hi, I don't think John Reese will ever lose his status as one of the foremost authorities on internet marketing.

    Not only was the guy pioneering marketing breakthroughs online
    (ie., practically invented the autoresponder before people even knew it was possible, grew domaining empire in early days, etc.) while most of today's

    marketers were still learning how to create an email address,

    John continues to successfully innovate and deliver success to the masses.

    Just having access to what he says works is worth more than the retail

    if you'll implement.

      If I was having that much trouble I'd do a competition for a list building exercise and give it away. Contact others in my niche and ask them to promote the competition somehow (small JV).

      But as the 1st poster said..John isnt in the limelight at moment hence the lack of interest.

    The answer is simple...you are "marketing" to the wrong people.

    I'd be willing to bet that there are multiple orders coming in to John's office every day for Traffic secrets 2.0 at "full price". It's not like people aren't buying it.

    However, it was smart to post your dilemma here on the WF because now many people will know of your offer. Perhaps that will generate a sale.

    But...it's still in your marketing, not in the fact that nobody wants it.

      Thanks everyone for all your responses, they have been very helpful.

      I think Jason could have something, when he said that my problem is in the marketing, not that nobody wants Traffic Secrets 2.0 at $147.

      I was shocked that so many people were not interested, I mean it's a great product created by a leader in our community.

      Maybe someone here on WF will spot this post and ask to buy it at $147.

      For dollar value, TS 2.0 is the most practical Im course I ever purchased.

      So, because I bought 2 copies, it's time to let one go.

      Let's see where this goes
