thank you page ebook download? (clickbank)

Alright so im working on the release of one of my ebooks. The sales letter is going well and im in the process of developing the thank you page. I have a question though. This is my first product as a CB vendor and im not really sure how i should go about providing the download.

Heard good things about incorporating ejunkie for security

but

what if i just no indexed the thank you page and put the direct links to the rar downloads with the pdf inside some hyperlinked text.

What should i go about doing? piracy can really be 100% secure i know and i want to make it easy enough for the buyer to get straight to the product. What have you guys done.

I have several ebooks on the market, some are sold through CB. I have used DLGuard in the past to provide one-time, obfuscated download links - that works well.

I have also got two ebooks (have never changed these two) where I have a single password protected directory with my download files - when my order goes through I have the CB order page linked to an Aweber email that sends them the password. So if anyone arrives on my download page but has not ordered the ebook, they will not know the password. The only downside of this approach is that email is somewhat unreliable - I get a few support requests each month from someone who hasn't received (or found) the email...but not a big deal really.

Depending on how extensive you want your setup to be, you can also put your download inside a membership area. I don't really know what you are selling or what market you are in, but that is a possibility too. One that I have used, and it works quite well.

I use S2member as a membership script and it has worked quite well for me.

Jeff, I can testify that your strategy is a working strategy, even with our clients who have been ordering e-books from us. Someone told us this technique and we have been sharing the same piece of advice to clients who are hesitant to order an e-book due to security concerns once they sell it.
