Is a 23.01% Conversion Rate with Amazon Good?

What do you think? Is this is a decent conversion rate?

It is for me. Here's a big tip if your conversion rates aren't that good: have your visitors COMPARE prices on your site to other sites (that are also affiliate links).

For example if a user is looking for a new toaster and your site is all about toasters, have either a chart or function (i.e. comparison "engine") on your site that lets them see other prices from other vendors online.

This BIG TIME boosts conversions, and since all the links are affiliate links, even if they purchase through another vendor (i.e. not Amazon) you still get a commission. This is really easy to implement and can make you a lot more money off the same amount of traffic.

Great tip, and yeah, 23% is huge! I used to be in the Amazon game and was usually hovering around 10%-12% - Congrats!

Nice tip, but wouldn't there be an SEO problem having too many affiliate links per page doing this as people often recommend keeping the number of affiliate links down to a minimum.

Another problem is that you can't display prices because they change frequently.

I was just about to write that. I guess OP is using some kind of script/plugin, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense.

First thing, 23% is much, much, much more than enough. This is a big conversion, mate.
    Keep doing this good job.

Second thing, good tips for persuading visitors to still buy the products through our affiliate links.
Comparation is one of the most important factor in making decision for buyers.
You put a right direction to utilize this factor.

You only haver just over 100 clicks though. It's not really a good sample size.

23% is definitely monstrous though, and if it's consistently in the 20% range over time, then WOW! kudos! And please share your strat

It's an insignificant sample size. If you can replicate that DAILY, you are onto something. Until then, it's really not significant.

A conversion rate above 5% with an Amazon site is what I consider good.

Do you have any data showing 10000 or more clicks?

If your still getting a 23% conversion, I would love to know what your niche is .

But still, you're doing something right. Keep doing it and see if the rate maintains or not.

Never seen a conversion rate this high for amazon before.

Do you always get this kind of result? 113 clicks is a very small number to go by.

Sometimes it can be caused by just 1 person going on a shopping spree.

Site is over 2 years old and has converted this way (on average) the entire time - many times even significantly higher (up to 35% even).

Then I have to question your motive for posting in the first place. In your OP, you ask if this is a good conversion. If you've been doing this for 2 years, you certainly know by now what's good and what's not.

          Good point sir.

Maybe it has something to do with his "keyword crushing" WSOs. Nah, that would be too obvious, right?

23% is not good. It's excellent and Amazon is God in converting visitors to buyers.

      Hello

What I see is the conversion of when people click from your site to amazon then 23% purchase.

What is the conversion rate of visitors to your site to making a purchase on Amazon

How many people had to come to your site to get the 113 to go to Amazon

So, a price comparison script would probably be handy but I'm sure anyone would charge for something like that. Would data feeds be a good way to approach it? (why are data feeds so ugly and overly complicated anyways??)
