How much does a top seller earn on clickbank

Hi guys
I am in the process of launching my own product and i was wondering.
say if the product price is 47$ and it reaches the first page of Clickbank as most popular, then how much would the publisher be earning approximately?

any suggestions to boost my morale?

    I have read about a few publishers who have products that make a million dollars or more a year, but that's pretty rare.

    My suggestion is to concentrate more on making the best product possible and providing top-notch support for affiliates and don't worry so much about how much is 'possible'. That's how those guys get there, for the most part. They just concentrate on product creation, support, and networking with the right affiliates.

    There is no way to know for sure. It varies widely based on what market you're in.

    You need to just concentrate on making those first few sales only for now. Get your site to convert pretty well...THEN open it up to the masses and look for targeted traffic online and off.

    There is more to internet marketing than Clickbank ;-)

    Hay thanks guys for the replies. Im quiet impressed by these figures. Yes, i agree, its quite true I shoudnt worry about the money part and focus mainly on creating a good product and the rest will fall in place.

    Just that its good to know these numbers too, so you have an idea of what is possible.

    I know of a guy, has run a tiny ad for an ebook under $30 for years and years and does over a million a year with it. And this is offline advertising only and the book is under 30 pages

      But would they have gotten it without the affiliate network? Clickbank is more than just a payment processor...

    I heard that the top affiliate buys his own food now.. like 3 sandwiches a week, he only has to go to the soup kitchen on weekends "apparently".. but to be honest, I think it's a scam. He stole the sandwiches that he used in the picture evidence on his sales page..

    I call scam on this one.

    I'd agree with eholmlund above. But the other big thing to consider is how long the product stays at the top of the charts. Things like Maverick Money Makers and Commission Blueprint have had tremendous staying power. But a lot of #1 products get a high gravity out of the gate but after a couple months they have dropped way, way off the charts.

    OH..MY...GOD...

    I posted a few weeks ago because "six figures yearly" is the biggest SCAM pyramid scheme product ever. I actually considered a few times to file a complaint about this particular product.

    "Six figures yearly" is a pyramid scheme and the product itself is basically the information to re-sell "six figures yearly" as an affiliate...in addition this particular vendor rips off people because he is selling them the affiliate sites/hosting for their "six figures yearly" affiliate sites....

    So..you want to tell me that this obvious SCAM which is hardly even legal makes millions? This is really great!!!

    I agree with the sentiments echoed in the thread so far about earnings, but I would like to say also that few products on the Clickbank front page retail for less than $67. If you want to attract a large pool of affiliates you have to give them a solid commission (about $30 per sale). At $47, you will leave very little for yourself after commission and fees.

    I think you should press on with your product, but add some more value and price it higher.
