Can I create multiple blogs?

I was wondering can I use wordpress or other blog applications to create multiple blogs without being penalized. If I can can someone tell me the best place to do this so that I will not be penalized. Thank you.

    I most certainly am. But do not know how to go about doing this. Would I just create multiple accounts for wordpress or joomla or whatever. Can I register my own domain name and still have those places host it for me.

      Buy a domain name...host with a company like BlueHost...click a couple of icons and presto...you have a wordpress blog. Then buy another domain...add it to your BlueHost account for free...click a couple of icons and presto...you have your second blog.

      Just keep in mind what NPmaster said...if you are using add-ons you will not want to interlink them....if that is your goal then you should host on different sites. Also, what he said about managing the contnent is true as well...it can be quite a bit of work, but there are several plugins that will add contnent to your blog automatically all based on the keywords you choose.

      Yeah you can create anything what you want on your blog..

    Blogs are websites. You can have as many as you want. What is your objective in having multiple blogs though?

    My goal is to create niche related blogs for my article marketing strategy. When I put my site in my resource box I want to lead them to the related niche blog with more articles on them as supposed to sending them to a squeeze page. Or lead them to the niche blog and use something like pdf pro to give them the option to join my list but still be able to get the free report or ebook I will give away.I want a seperate blog for each niche.

      Sure this is fine then but you may be jumping the gun a little. Start with one niche and learn how to make it work for you. Get your own host for your content and make your main website/blog. Then compliment it with a blogger blog and squidoo lens while you distribute and create articles, bookmarks and videos.

      If you make this work and you like doing it (profit!), then add another niche to your same host, wash rinse repeat.

    Hi Phoenix..

    This is something I did/do in massive fashion in some niche markets... I find the exterior blogs are great on free platforms (blogger etc).. they can become as powerful if not more than the article directories if you treat each blog well and use it only for tightly related and targeted phrases..

    Then work this traffic towards your own blogs and sites....

    free blogs -> Your own blogs -> money sites

    Obviously, using each piece of content on your own sites before using it on other platforms.

    Are you planning to create more than 100 or more than 1000?

    Anyway, you can create multiple blogs using wordpress if you have fantastico but you'll have to find good plugins and back it up so you can use it to your other blogs.

    I couldn't see any reason you will be banned unless you didn't follow the search engine's guidelines/policy. Don't create duplicate contents in one server.

    Thanks for the info on fantastico. I found a great host where I can do this. There is still so much that I need to learn but I just want to get my feet wet for now.

      You can always do the 30 Day Challenge it's FREE and you will learn basics of IM. I think they still have newbies using Wordpress Direct blogs which is a free platform unless you upgrade. Or use over 3 blogs. You can also go to youtube and watch tutorials on just about anything.

      Link your blogs to other sites like Weebly, Squidoo, Knol, Hubpages etc.
