Calling All Gurus: $50 Million Dollar Info-Product Business?

Hello All. I have a question of discussion for everyone; Do you think it is possible that in the near future we will see a $50 million dollar Info-Product Man? A man that makes Eben Pagan, Frank Kern, and John Reese look like Beggars? A Man that dominates major niches in dozens of markets?

I have run some numbers, and this is how the math would work out for a sample $50 Million Dollar business...

Annual Sales- $50,000,000
Product Price- $197
Total Sales- 253,808
Sales Letter Conversion Rate- 4%
AdWords Impressions- 317,260,000
Adwords Clicks-6,345,200
AdWords CTR- 2%
Average CPC- .20
Total Adwords Expense-$1,269,040

Why hasn't anyone done this? I am not saying one niche can get 300 million impressions in one year, but dozens of niches? Mathematically it is VERY possible....

I am 100% convinced that we have a Roger Bannister situation here.

Before Roger Bannister ran the mile in under 4 minutes (3 Minutes and 59 Seconds), people thought it was insane. They would let lions loose in Africa to force people to run 4 minute miles, and they couldn't do it. Scientists concluded that it was physiologically impossible. Your heart would burst. It just couldn't be done.

What made this event so significant is that once the four minute barrier was broken by Roger Bannister, within three years, by the end of 1957, 16 other runners also cracked the four minute mile.

The question for all Internet Marketers, Guru's Included is who will be our "Roger Bannister", and who will be the 16 or 1600 that follow.....

I think one day it will happen. But product will probably cost way more. And at first someone needs to cross like 30 million dollar line. Since StomperNet had like 23mil, that is possible.

Who's to say that it isn't already happening? People that are enjoying massive success rarely share their secrets with others - just because no one is advertising their success, doesn't mean that there aren't silent millionaires out there .

Because getting a 4% conversion rate from an adwords campaign direct to sales letter in a market that could support that level of traffic at that price would be downright miraculous in my opinion.

There are many marketers worth more than $50,000,000 from their online efforts, it's just not as simple and linear as opening up an adwords account and a clickbank account and saying "here look".

Frank Kern and other guys have already shown that it's possible to get into the multiple millions in sales from utilizing a relatively small sector of the industry.

You see it a lot when people start capping out on their target market. Rather than work twice as hard to squeeze out half as much, they'll start moving toward other markets that are simply bigger.

I know of one individual that started in your average make money, foreclosure, forex type markets, went to film a late night commercial at the studio, and before long, was connected with guys that hocked Cleaning products and Safe Scissors and junk like that.

Why would they go from selling a $197 product with thousands of bucks available in the back end system? Because rather than selling a $200 product to hundreds of thousands of people, it's easier to sell a $20 product to tens of millions of people.

There are people out there sitting on lists of several million, not knowing how to use them, when we have guys in here with a 5,000 list making a killing.

I totally believe that there are people doing that much as we speak.... They just are not telling everyone! The real money is in CPA people.... 50 millions a year is not hard.

My example was just a simple formula. I didn't even include Continuity, Back End, etc. My point was to show that $50 million is very possible. Can someone put together a full business formula, including sample conversion rates, continuity, backend, JV's, etc. I will work on one too

Exactly what I was gonna say. Back in 2006 Rich Schefren talked about Agora, which was doing $270M at the time.

And a $50M business would not make Eben Pagan look like a beggar ;-) I would expect him to reach that mark.

metaphor17, go to the Google Keyword tool and check how many searches are done every month for the term "Weight Loss", "Forex", "Make Money", "Photography", "Garden", "Dog Training", and "Dating". It is Very Possible to spend 1 Million+ in Adwords clicks every month.

What it comes down to is explanding your focus. If your sales letter converts at 4% from an ad-click, you can scale that puppy to the death.

  For some reason there's a perception that the "celebrity" marketers are the ones that are earning the most money.
