A Question for All Newbies

Everyone is always going on about getting to earning $100 a day, everyday from all aspects of Internet Marketing.

What I was wondering is how much of an impact on your life would it have to even get to $50/50 € a day.

In Europe 50 € a day x 30 is 1500 € which is most peoples mortgages covered and a few bills.

Just wondered what peoples thoughts were on this.

  • $50 a day is a lot of money to live off in my country and it would cover food, expenses and an internet connection. However, i live in Africa and the last i checked over half of my countrymen live on less that $2 a day.

Personally, if i had such a stream of cash coming in every day i would make sure not to cash out so quickly. I would pile it up to $500 and make some investments with it, in my case, buy some google ads and/or banner ads.

It is so hard to make money on the Internets that when you actually do you should make that money work for you.

I'd definitely put some of it back into the business, that's a good idea. I agree with not cashing out quickly, I'd do everything I could to make sure it was a steady stream of at least 50 dollars a day.

I'd love to be at a consistent 50€ a day, way more than having very unreliable and unstable $100 days And yes, I'd put 100% back into the business.

I must say that I would not settle down to 50EUR a day. I make that money now from my 9-5 job. I know it would double my income but although it would be nice I would not settle with it.

I have bigger plans and I will try to do everything that I can to earn more than that, although to double my paycheck would be nice

The OP was not saying that you have to settle for that amount per day.

All he was doing was to get people to think about the impact having that extra amount per month could have on your life.

I understand you, it would have big impact on my life, but the thing is I want to ditch my 9-5 job and to do that i have to have bigger financial freedom if you understand me, and 50 eur a day would not be enough.
Dont get me wrong I am not greedy guy but I am in a situation where this kind of money would not be enough.
Although it would be great to have it at the moment. Shore it would.
But since I am new to all this and I have plans that I hope will come true in next few months. We will see....

If you think about it even something as small as an extra $500 a month could make a pretty big difference in people's lives.

An extra $500 a month could

pay someone's rent, (or most of it) NOTE: My rent is $650.
buy all their groceries for the month
pay for their children's clothes for that month
pay for their children's school supplies
    pay for someone's favorite hobby
You could buy a laptop computer for $500
You could pay for most of an Ipad or another tablet computer for $500
You could buy a bunch of new clothes for that amount

The goal doesn't have to be always $100/day or $10,000 a month, or whatever.

You can start small and that small amount can make a difference.

And just a note, I am not saying that you have stop at $500 a month or even $50/day like the OP mentioned, but that you can start on small goals, and then as you grow in skill and knowledge you readjust and go after bigger goals.

While everyone will have "their" number based on debt level, current income, family situation, country they live in/cost of living, risk tolerance, etc....I'm not sure thinking about your own business in terms of daily income is really that useful.

Business, by its very nature, is somewhat sporadic - what you really want to be working toward is a monthly (in the beginning) and eventually annual goal which is much more realistic in this industry.

For example, your income may look something like this if you decide to pursue information product marketing:

Month 1 - $0 as you research your market, develop your product and prepare your website and partners for launch
Month 2 - $4000 as you ht your initial launch (sure, it may take some another month to get here, but you get the picture) Ideally your launch has some sort of recurring back-end to it which will help level out your income in future months
    Month 3 - $1500 + $1000 recurring previous month = $2500, a drop from Month 2 because your launch is over
    Month 4 - $2000 + 1500 as you enter slower, but steady growth post-launch
Month 5 - $4000 new product, $2500 initial product + $1500 back-end - now you have your 2cnd launch kick in and a new source of income
    Month 6 - $1000 (new product) + $2000 (initial product) + $2000 back-end
    Etc...

In this case you do ~ $22K in your first 6-months, turn that into roughly $30K the second half of the year for a 1-year total of ~ 50K, the next year you would set a goal to bring that to $80-$100K and so on...

As you see, month by month your income will fluctuate, the key is to have a 1-year plan that you can measure yourself against and make adjustments if something doesn't work.

    Nice 1 shane_k.

Yes that was what I was trying to get across. I think sometimes people are setting their targets or goals too high. Remember it is a target that you would like to reach. You may be off centre but you want to be able to hit it!

I was trying to point out that even a small amount per day (not $50 even say $10) when added up over a month can really help you out.

Thanks for your input so far people.

I am a believer that if you are making any profit daily it is a good thing, but I disagree with the thought that people set their goals too high. If all you want is to get to $50 a day, then that is great. But don't fault people for wanting to make thousands of dollars a day. The Warrior Forum alone has created or help create 100's if not thousands of people making that kind of money. Now, you of course need to have a plan and an engine to get you there, but I say dream big and succeed big!

    Hi Moondogge

I think some people set their goals too high from the start. What I was trying to convey is start with a realistic target, hit that one then ramp it up!

for me, $100 a day would be life changing. I would then be earning more in a month than I do now in my J.O.B. I agree with a lot of people here that in I would re invest a lot of it back into my business, certainly in the beginning so that I could grow my business fast. I the moment I am working on just trying to get $50 a day :-)
